La Menara

I thought the food was amazing! The cushions are so cosy you could sleep there for a week!! Definitely a place you can go to get away from the hustle and bustle of London!!!!!

Very tasty food for a very decent price. Lovely decor and very comfy couches. Staff try to be helpful but the service is a bit disorganised however as long as you're relaxed it doesn't matter.

I celebrated my birthday last night at La Menara, and what a mistake!

When I booked the table I spoke to the manager who was super friendly.

After 5mn of being there, I realised that it was a big mistake!

He made up a menu for the party, and of course much more expensive than any set menu!

He was so unpleasant, every time we ordered something it seems that we were bothering him, and at the end he ripped us off on the bill which was not itemised. I could continue with a long list but will tell you only that :

I am moroccan and I have been to many moroccan restaurant in London, this is the worst and by far!

Well I hired the balcony part of this restaurant for my birthday . The food was good; however I did pay a deposit for the whole balcony , but the manager came after about half an hour after we ordered our food and said apparently the restaurant was full therefore 4 other guests will be joining us aswell at the top.

I was mortified, because I did speak to the other manager who confirmed I can have the balcony with my friends for the evening. The manager was rude I will never go back!

I booked this for my partner's birthday and it was faultless.

Watch the mezze. It's big. Really big. It will feed about 4 people easily.

Cleveland street seems to have a few gems on it. It's underrated. Go there. Go. Now.

I booked la menara restaurant for my engagement party on a sunday afternoon, and I must say it was every thing I wished

the place was well decorated ,the food was very tasty and it does come in generous portions, we had live music and belly dancers,it is a really lovely place to party and we thouroghly enjoyed our time

Right next door to the excellent Terra on Cleveland Street sits this equally wonderful little Morroccan restaurant. The front area is reserved mainly for people drinking and smoking the old hubbly bubbly, but at the back there is a wonderfully cosy dining area.

The food here is great, very reasonably priced and comes in generous portions. Service is friendly and efficient. I would certainly recommend La Menara and will be going back! Cleveland Street may be the best hidden culinary destination in London!

we went to La menara for a drink but to be honest we could'nt resist their food selection as it was mouth watering we enjoyed every single dish the lamb tagine was fab and so was the mezze, they have friendly staff ,lovely atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed the shisha and the belly dancer . we had all the fun at a very raisonable price, definitly going back again.

I booked this restaurant as a surprise for my best friends birthday,she absolutely loved it!The atmosphere is gorgeous with warm lighting and comfortable sofas;surrounded with comfy cushions. The food was lovely, and the waiter was very attentive (we did not mind as he was gorgeous!)we also enjoyed dancing with the belly dancer! All in all we had a great night without breaking the bank.I will definately recommend it.
