I will return! We were in a group of 13 people on Saturday night and we found a table without booking in advance. The atmosphere was great and staff very kind.

The food was quite good and the bill ok, especially considering that we were in a lot.

I will return back.

Decided to eat at Med Kitchen after checking out a number of restaurants around High Street Kensington at short notice on a Saturday night, and decided that the menu looked interesting and also reasonably priced when compared to a number of other restaurants in the area.

We certainly felt we made the right choice for the occasion. The Italian meatballs and the goat cheese salad with rocket and pear were both very tasty starters. For main we had char-grilled chicken with cous cous and harissa, and confit of duck with chorizo and beans, both of which were delicious. The desserts we had (pot au chocolat, and tiramisu) were enjoyable. The food was all well-presented, and the staff were both friendly and attentive. The total bill for the two of us (3-courses each plus a bottle of house red) came to around £60, including the 12.5% discretionary service charge added (which I was not aggrieved to pay).

Med Kitchen is a great place to dine if you're not looking for fancy "special occasion" food, but just interesting, tasty Mediterranean dishes at reasonable prices. Definitely Recommended.

I visited the Med Kitchen for the first time last week, for a quick Saturday lunch prior to a matinee theatre visit. The restaurant was cool on a very hot day but the welcome from the staff was just warm enough. I immediately felt comfortable and was not hurried at all. The menu was varied and inviting. My buffalo mozzarella, tomato and basil starter was presented simply and the ingredients were wonderful ! The three-egg omelette was light but well cooked, light but filling and the basket of fries crispy, tasty but possibly pre-salted a little too much. The cost was just about right for the centre of London.

Extraordinary Bad service from the branch on Gloucester Road.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who expects to be given the food they ordered or who expects at least an attempt at good customer service.

The service was particularly slow despite the restaurant being very quiet.

We ordered 2 dishes, one of which was wrong. The Manager on duty made no apology for this and was in fact very rude when I complained.

I have been here three times now and always have Eggs Royale - everything about this dish is perfect! I live in Wales and would travel here everyday if i could just to eat their Eggs Royale! Service was ok, but with a dish this tasty I didn't really care about the service! When I'm in London I will always come here for my breakfast! Lunch and maybe dinner too!

we ate there on Sunday 2/04/06. I had salmon fishcake which was fantastic others had chicken and steak. Every meal was eaten and well enjoyed. would go back no problem. The staff were very helpful and we were told how long the meal would take to serve at the table. most enjoyable sunday lunch.

On choosing an empty restaurant to eat, we could find no fault with food or service.

Great choice of menu and portions ample. We would definately eat there again as the cost was reasonable too.

My husband and I come here quite often, or to the one in South Ken., especially in the Prom season, we even visit the one in Covent Garden which is a little smaller. The food is fresh and the service is excellent, smiling and accomodating. People who have champagne ideas with beer money will be disappointed. However, if you are looking for fresh tastey food, well priced great lightling and tall windows, then the med kitchen is the place, gr8 selection of wine also!
