We stumbled across this small, quaint Indian restaurant on our most recent visit to London, and I must say that it was absolutely superb. We have had Indian food all around the world, and Little India topped our list.
The vegetarian dishes were well prepared, the bhindi with nan was extraordinary, and was complemented nicely with the raaita. For vegetarians, the restaurant offers such a wide selection of dishes, that it was hard to choose, but we were happy with our selection.
The chicken grill was done nicely, and was not too dry, as can be the case in most tandoor meats.
The staff was attentive and did their best to make sure our evening was enjoyable. It's decor inside was inviting, without being overtly gaudy and too much.
Good things do come in small packages.

Even though the food is great, the service during my last visit was terrible, the waites kept rushing us through the meal, taking dishes away quickly and bringing us the bill before we asked for it. It was very crowded on a Saturday night and they obviously wanted to get us out of there quickly (we did bring this to their attention). My friend left her sunglasses on the table in the rush of things and when we came back to collect them a few days later the staff claimed they never saw them. It was very annoying. A real shame since the food is actually quite good!

Cozy little restaurant with a nice East-Indian touch. We found the service very professional and attentive. We had Silati Style Lamb, Spicy Ladies Finger (Okra) and Nan. All of it was excellent. They have a decent selection of wine too. The only criticism is that they don't have much of seafood choices. Some shrimp preparation and that's it for seafood.
