Zayka has built itself over the years to now one of the best Indian restaurants in Ealing (eaiing is well served). Consistently good quality, service and value for money.

Totally agree with last review. The food here is excellent and Monty's cannot really hold a candle to it.

The variety of dishes is superb. I can recommend the Goan specialties and the Nepalese dishes, particularly the vegetables, which are delicious. Also try the Mango pickle with your poppadoms - so spicy and tasy I thought it was lime pickle!

Add this to very friendly and helpful staff and you have an excellent local restaurant that deserves to be much busier than it is.

I totally disagree with the last reviewer, and find his alternative to Zayka to be totally bland and uninspiring.

By contrast, Zayka is wonderful in terms of the food served and the attitude of the staff; we eat there regularly, albeit not that frequently, and are always greeted with warmth - they always remember who we are too.

The food is wonderful, really tasty, and each dish is different in taste, texture and appearance - unlike some Indian restaurants where you would suspect that once sauce fits all. They are also very happy to amend dishes to your liking (more or less hot, more or less sweet). We had the Sunday buffet there a couple of weeks ago, the food served is limited but of an equal standard to the normal fare, and all very fresh.

In short, one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever eaten in - long may it propser!
