Never going there again. How a place can go downhill in less than a year. Last year we had a pre-Christmas group meal and it was excellent. I am a vegan, my wife is a vegetarian and there were lots of tasty veggie tapas. After Christmas two of the group organised a Burns Night supper there. They catered very well for us with a vegan haggis. It was therefore very disappointing to go back there for the annual pre-Christmas group meal and to be treated so poorly. My wife went to the bar and bought a bottle of wine. She queried why she was being charged more than the price stated at the bar and was told that was because we were eating and therefore using tablecloths and serviettes! Our meal was a very bland and boring soup followed by an even blander and boring vegetable risotto. The meat eaters had vegetables with their food. We were told that we could not have vegetables to liven up our dish because they were not included, notwithstanding that we had paid the same money for a half-hearted risotto as the meat dishes. The final course was a choice between a dessert or coffee; last year coffee had been included. It is not cheap to eat there and I wish we had not bothered.

I went last night with my boyfriend to this restaurant. I wasn't sure of what to expect due to some negative reviews that I've seen in some websites but I decided to give it a go. Most of the food are recipes from Galicia (Spain) which is my homeland and I have to say that I felt like at home.
The food was fresh and tasty, delicious to me, it really brought me back to my dear Galicia. We galegos tend to use more salt than average in food, this wasn't a surprise.
On the other hand, some reviews complain about the prices HAHAHAHA try to have the same quality of food in Spain and then you will see. Whoever wants to have nice quality food cannot hope for it to be cheap, this is an absolute truth. If you go to Spain and the seafood and fish is suspiciously cheap, well, good luck with your digestion!!!!
The service...of course it is not a 5 star restaurant, but they serve the very same as in Spain. I found it fabulous and my boyfriend too. I come from a family of fishmongers and I would bring my family to eat in La Terraza with no doubt. BEAUTIFUL!!!

I recently went to this restaurant, with my friends and found the prices very high.
Food was a bit salty, nothing special, but the price of bottled beer was a staggering £3.00 which I found extremely high.
They also charge service charge included on your bill @ 10%, with no proper service.
In future I would avoid this place, but visit a portuguese Bar/Restaurant instead where your money will take you a long way.

I love this place! An evening here is like having a couple of hours holiday in Spain. The atmosphere is fantastic. The food delicious, consistently good and, I think, well priced considering the generous amounts and very high quality.
Reading some of the more negative reviews on here it's like we're going to a different place!
I have never known bad service but the staff are pretty latin in temperament. ie they dont mess about! i dont mind that, it all adds to the atmosphere.
I always eat in the bar area from the tapas menu. My boyfriend and i have often popped in for a quick meal and ended up having a brilliant spontaneous late night with fantastic live music and dancing.
Eat plates of delicious lamb cutlets, potatas bravas and paella and then push back your chair and let the band entertain you. What could be better??!
