I totally dissagree with most of the comments. This is the worst Spanish Restaurant I have ever been to in London. The food and service was very dissapointing and the atmoshere, well, even worse. I shall not be recommending this restaurant to anyone.

I went to La Terrazza in April and enjoyed every minute I was there. The food was fantastic, the staff very friendly and I did enjoy the dance. Will come back and recommend it to everybody.

I have been eating at La T's as i refer to it since it opened in 2003. The food is lovely, especially the fish & shellfish specials (not necessarily on the menu). Pimientos de padron, pulpo & berenjenas also yummy!
The staff are good fun and known to all locals as they seem to go between La Terraza & somewhere else on the High street! I've been to birthdays, xmas parties, family do's and can only say that it's fab!
A real gem in Clapham & don't be put off by grumpy pants (the strangely negative review, was he even in the same Terraza?) Though i go all year round, it really comes into it's own in the summer, you can't get more authentically Spanish ambience or food! Bag a table on the terrace & settle in for Frankie's Fab jugs of Sangria or tinto de verano!

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of going to La Terraza last Saturday. The place was full and bursting with atmosphere. The staff were run off their feet but In spite of this, the food arrived piping hot and extremely tasty. They had live music, a mixture of Salsa, seventies hits and what we were told were typical Spanish Summer holiday songs. Simply said, it was for us a restaurant which we have recommended to our friends and will definitely visit again very soon.

I am an avid spanish restaurant goer, and this restaurant in terms of value for money in London is good as it gets. The food is excellent, and the selection of wines superb. A great place to relax and enjoy.

Absolutely brilliant place. Nearest thing in London to an authentic friendly and good value Tapas Bar. Great on Thu, Fri & Saturdays when Enzo sings and everyone gets up to dance.
Great food, great wine and range of beers
I have been going here since it opened over 2 years ago and have taken lots of people - they are all regulars now!

I have never written a restaurant review before but having eaten at La Terraza last night I felt obliged to do so. The food was diabolical! The meatballs seemed to be reconstitued corned beef, the prawns were frozen & the rice had tinned vegetables in. The worst tapas I think I have ever had. There are far better places to go for much nicer food, better service & more pleasant surroundings both locally & in central London. To top it off the service was pretty dire too. They seemed to be very attentive to the regulars but practically ignored us.

Really authentic Spanish food, at almost Spanish prices. Lovely dining area, and large outside terrace, where you can sit in the sun and watch the Eurostar train to Paris zooming past nearby.
The staff are very friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere makes you feel as if you have really entered a little bit of real spain in London.
