Satori Sushi

I’ve never really tried Japanese food before but was recommended the £14.95 Monday evening buffet at Satori Sushi by someone at work. Being a little bit broke, I decided to give it a go with a friend. The food was great and excellent value! The service was quick and I’ve now discovered a new love for Japanese food! I would definitely recommend!

Bentall centre branch......Awful tasteless food, poor service, overpriced. We had one bite from each of the 3 types of gyoza we were brought. They were awful!!! tasteless textureless stodge. We left the rest but at no point did any of the staff ask if there was a problem with the food. We ordered egg noodles in spicy broth with tofu, the broth was greasy stock with absolutely no spice whatsoever there were 3 leaves of spinach some cheap noodles and 3 slices of tempura tofu floating in it. The tofu batter went soggy and gelatinous a horrible taste/texture all in all the whole dish had no flavour whatsoever. Again i left about half the dish but no comment from the staff. Cost us £25 for 2 still hungry. AVOID THIS PLACE

Ate at the restaurant in the Kingston Rotunda after the cinema. Needless to say I was absolutely starving.

I opted to have sushi off the conveyor belt, where my partner ordered salmon teriyaki. 20 mins later after having chased the order several times, we were informed that there was only one wok in which to cook food hence the delay, and then a later excuse that there was some mix up with the ordering and we would have to wait another 10-15 mins.

Waitress was rude and unapologetic - made no concession and didn't even attempt to keep our business. Got up and walked out in disgust. Would never eat in there again on principle. Usesless service.

Very disappointing as we eat in the sister Satori restaurant in the Bentall centre quite regularly, where the food and service is excellent.

TERRIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE.

I have recently been at Satori with a groupon offer. the food was terrible and the service poor if not rude. we tried to order vegetable tempura from the menu and they told us they had run out of vegetable so we opted for some soft crab sushi and they told us they had run out of soft crab. I guess this was because we were on a groupon voucher, which means the offer was not genuine. they offered us green tea with cheap tea bags which was quite sad. the sushi plates were not clean and the chocolate dessert tasted like chewing gum. probably the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in London, definitly the worst Japanese food I have ever had in my life.

I went there with couple of friends. Very trendy sushi bar, lovely food and nice staff. I love octopus balls and marinated mackerel with lemon. Friends chose handroll and noodle soup with duck. Try fresh fruit crash for a healthy drink or sake cocktail for refreshing!

Highly recommend!!!!!
