As a vegetarian, I found that the menu at Rawalpindi catered for my needs with a good selection of very tasty vegetarian options. The food, although not cheap, was of very high quality. Among the many indian restaurants in Twickenham, this one would stand out as the best. Definitely worth a visit!

Far and away one of the best Indian restaurants outside of the London offerings of Chutney Mary, Tamarind and the Mango Tree. The Rawalpindi Grill offers a wide range of unusual dishes, and some of the usual favourites. The decor is gorgeous, the chairs you could happily sit on for many hours, the toilets (the acid test!) are even well decorated. Food is beautifully presented, and many dishes can be adapted for vegetarians. Definitely recommended.

This is an excellent restaurant combining the staple curry dishes we have all grown up on, with a modern approach to both the cuisine and the aesthetic. Service is relaxed but attentive, the prices are not cheap but nor should they be. A must before or after an England Rugby Game!

Based on its reputation we booked the Rawalpindi for a party of 10. While the food and decor quality were good the service was appalling. Although it was a relatively quiet Wednesday night we waited an hour for our main course, which was lukewarm when it arrived. As the evening progressed the staff just seemed to lose interest in serving anyone. Not impressed.

A magnificent restaurant in the heart of Twickenham. Been living in the area for 30 years now and finally we are seeing the good stuff coming our ways. The decor service, food was exceptional. To put it in a nutshell - fresh and vibrant. Have dined there a few occassions now and beleive there is nothing like it in this side of London.

agree will all previous reviews. Have been there on several occasions with visitors from abroad or family: the combination of flavours and ingredient is excellent (try the lamb with pumpkin) and the quality of the ingredients very high. They also have a take-away/delivery service with a more traditional menu for the locals!
