Adamos Taverna

Being Cypriot, I thought the food in Adamos was very authentic. Although the venue isn't exactly swanky, my advice would be to not go out in that area if you're looking for posh nosh - you wont find it. Just real, honest food and really friendly staff.
Although it was quiet when we arrived, the atmosphere soon picked up later on in the evening - my advice would be to book after 8 - it was packed out by 9

A disappointing experience.
The food is over priced for what you get, and for where you are. The restaurant is located in a side street in a less than attractive road. I certainly wouldn't book a table here if I wanted to impress clients.
We were charged £20 for a plate of calamari which we thought was a little excessive, the bill was almost £100 for three people. The kebabs were dry and the service was average.
The owner wasn't impressed when we wanted to pay by credit card. Make sure you take cash guys.
