We had our office summer dinner at Tinkers, where Barry, Sarah, Jackie and Dave were the perfect hosts. As we were a large group they even went to the lengths of closing the restaurant for our exclusive use!
The service was friendly and efficient with nothing being too much trouble. This even extended to a few late stayers beyond closing time.
As for the food I have rarely enjoyed 3 courses so much. Being a lover of seafood the scallops and monkfish were excellent, follwed by a chocolate brownie to die for.
We are already making arrangements to return there for our Christmas outing.

A fabulous family restaurant, for that realy specila atmopheric experience, at a relatively inexpensive price. The chef is brilliant. I had Crayfish tails, and a glorious steak, and tried everybody elses, and the soup was fabulous. As I have aged, like most men, I am becomin a Victor Meldrew, and my wife says that it is the first occasion for years that I have not found fault. really great food.

We enjoyed a romantic meal for two at this small family-run restaurant. The food was excellent and very well presented. The staff were charming and friendly. Most of the other diners had obviously eaten there before. We will definitely be returning.

Small family run restaurant. Food is excellent and well presented.
Very nice and intimate for a perfect romantic night out and they always aim to please.
