I have only one thing to say about this place: Rubbish. What a shame letting a place with such potential go to waste. Went in november and it was fantastic, now it seems to have changes completely and it is not for the better. No points anywhere, we had a terrible evening and we won't be going back again. I just wish I had spent my money elsewhere.

I have to agree with the other reviewers. This place looks great but the service and the staff are appalling. Food however is good, if a bit over priced.
We won't be going back unless they change the staff and improved the service by a 100%.

My fiancee and I went to ISIS at the end of February after reading all the reviews here. This was the first time we try Lebanese food. We book the 2 for 1 offer on food and drink, which was available till the end of Feb.
We arrived at ISIS half an hour earlier and found us warm welcomed. We were escorted to the table, which is really comfortable. The waiters were friendly and we were politely greeted.
The food was great. The Mezze was so nice that we kept eating like two pigs! However the mains were a little disspointed. My mixed grill was cold and superisingly small portioned (compare to the mezze). My fiancee's Seabass was Ok though.
After the mains we were asked if we wanted some coffee or tea. We did. However, nobody mentioned the dessert and fruit shown on the 2-4-1 menu. Also when we asked for the bill we found the drinks were not on the offer despite it should be as stated on the offer.
Briefly, I would recommand this restaurant. However you should check the offer before you sit down.

I love Lebanese food after being introduced to it by an old boyfriend (who was lebanese) and thought i would try this place because it had such great reviews - what a disspointment, the food was terrible, the wine was even worse (don't have the rose). We had the set menu and ordered some king prawns - they were terrible aswell. The total cost of the terrible food, wine and entertainment was £110 - what a waste of money.

This place used to be great a couple of months ago but now it's changed completely and the feeling you get from the service and management now is just unprofessional. Admittadley, the food is still good but unfortunately it doesn't weigh up for the rest.
We won't be going back or recommending it.

I went to this restaurant in the first week of Jan 06. We arrived later than the whole group, and were showed to a waiting area to meet the rest of the group, after a couple of drinks being escorted to our table. Both food and drink was fantastic. Between my partner and I, we shared a set menu mezze. This was a generous helping, leaving us fully satisfied, and even able to share our portions with our group. We were continously entertained by the resident belly dancer, and lets just say the birthday girl was treated like a queen. The change between restaurant into bar/dancing areas was seamless. We moved our night to the raised seated area near the bar. Again extremely comfortable, where we sat like kings, with our shisha's and assortment of fruits and desserts. I highly recommend it.

This restaurant is really gorgeous. I was taking someone to dinner, and was looking for a cosy, romantic and exotic ambience. Isis is the place to go! Just perfect for a date!
You enter down these semi spiral staircase littered with rose petals and on each side theres a little morroccon lamp or tealight lighting the way. Downstairs, everything is done in plush fabrics in hues of reds and golds, with gorgeous arabic chandeliers and little candles everwhere! On the walls they've created a sort of 3D Arabic architecture effect with little sockets for tea lights and votive candles.
In the bar/seating area, morroccon sofa beds with lots of cushions and pillows, and even a shisha smoking room, and the restaurant.
Dinner was just excellent - we got the 2 for 1 set menu at £42(which worked out to £21 a head) Starters of mixed hot and cold meze's which were superb. The chicken wings were absolutely scrumptious and the hummous is real. The only hummous I've had better was probably in Dubai. The bread was served warm and went well with the hummous, and even the falafel was fantastic. Ordinarily I'm not a fan of falafel but these were a far cry from Marks and Spencers! They were just the right melt in your mouth yet slightly crispy consistency, and the sesame seeds were nicely toasted. There were a couple of other dishes which were really nice as well, some grilled Halloumi cheese on bread and a lebanese salad and then this rather unusual cold meze of rice steam wrapped in herb leaves? That wasnt particularly my favourite but there were plenty of other little dishes that kept us entertained. We were even worried we might not have room for the mains!
Luckily the mains were a huge portion. We had the lamb and chicken mixed grill and the lamb was again melt in your mouth succulent and tender. Again only topped by Dubai I think. Then the dessert came, a selection of Lebanese pastries and some fresh fruit. The pastries (save one, which was mediocre and slightly too sweet) were absolutely amazing! Looking at them, you wouldnt have imagined they were particularly special. Like okay, so theyre a bunch of biscuity pastry type thing with some nuts thrown in - but by george it was just fantastic!!! Even if you're not a nut lover this is delicious! The grapes and strawberries were great in washing everything down, though we were both completely stuffed by this time.
We both had cappuccino which was an incredible blend of coffee - very strong and rich, great aroma and full flavoured - as coffee should be! After dinner, we sat in the bar area, had a few cigars and were pleasantly surprised by the appearance of an extremely talented belly dancer. We were also not pestered by any staff to order any drinks (which is amazing judging by some other restaurant/bars we've been to) and were allowed to enjoy the seating area after dinner just to chat.
A few minor (very minor) gripes), our table was slightly unstable and our waiter who promised to fix it seemed to have forgotten after awhile. Service was slightly slow but very pleasant and knowledgeable, any tardiness was easily forgiven given the ambience and decor (and food!) - there are very many things to keep you entertained should you have to wait a few minutes for your next course. Our plate of olives never arrived, but again negligible as our meze starters came promptly and we were totally stuffed anyway.
My date tells me his wine was excellent (cant remember what he had) but they have a rather impressive wine list.
A definite must go! Bring your girlfriends and impress them ;o)

We ate at ISIS on a recent trip to London. It was a last minute reservation but we were delighted when they had a table for the six of us. The cocktails were fabulous and a little bit different from the standard cocktails you get. The restaurant itself was beautiful decorated and you instantly felt relaxed on entering. There was so much food brought to the table for the starter but it was all thoroughly delicious. The boys even got to do a bit of belly dancing which they were delighted with!! It was an excellent evening made even better that we got 2 for 1 on the set menu - EXCELLENT!
