Isis is a very attractive restaurant which oozes sophistication as the location (opposite the Ritz) would suggest.

The setting is both stylish and cultured and you are instantly hit by the charming decour as you walk in.

The setting is really a cross between elegance and a homely feel with its decorative cushions and warm atmosphere.

I came here on a Saturday evening with a group of 8 friends and we had a really lovely time. The atmosphere was lively but yet soothing enough to hear yourself. But it really comes down to the food which wasn’t bad at all. We ordered the set menu which was a delightful mix of hot and cold mezza’s, a generous main and sweets to finish.

The service was very friendly although the restaurant was so busy that we got asked if we could have our bill at the end to vacate the table for another group.

Allow a good 3 hours to just hang out here and soak up the hospitable atmosphere!

Beautiful atmosphere, lovely food, wicked DJ! Make sure you don't eat for a week before you go. Nice selection of lebanese wines. Brilliant night out !!

Great place. Booked up due to "Dinner Deal" but would go again without the offer. Staff were helpful and friendly all evening. Food was outstanding and so much of it.

went on new year's eve 2005/06, the 4 of ours had an absolute blast, beautiful food, atmosphere, belly dancer, celebs, couple of footballers, beautiful people, basically the whole works. restaurant service was excellent. the restaurant closed at 11.30pm ready for the new year and it converted into a club. the service on the bar wasn't upto scratch, complained to the manager and the owner, indifferent they were, didn't want to spoil our new year so just made the most of it. am sure they will sort it out. music was sublime, amazing fusion of House, R&B, soul and Arabic, super stuff. cost was reasonble consdering it was new year's eve approx £100 a head including drinks. they could have easily got away with charging 130 a head all inclusive

Excellent food and venue, lovely exotic cocktails, great music and atmosphere. The only down side was the rushed service of the 6 course mezze. Also no belly dancer as advertised. There was also confusion over the bill (not just our table). I would recommend this restaurant but check the bill as things have a tendency to vary from the published price – also don’t eat for at least a week before!!

Really enjoyed our night here on the 21st December, my wife and I had read the reviews and decided this was a place we should try. Upon arrival we were told by the pleasant staff that someone had cancelled so they would give us a better table. We were not disappointed. The 'booth' we were given was luxurious to say the least. We opted for the full set menu and were treated to a delightful selection of lebanese dishes. The wine was good. One criticism would be the over-enthusiastic nature of our waiter. Barely a sip could be taken from our glass before he would fill them each time. The atmosphere was relaxed and quite romantic. I would argue that a couple of things mentioned on the pre-set menu failed to materialise but these were presented rather sharply on complaint. Over all, whilst I would say that it was almost death by lamb, it was a treat. Proved to be quite an expensive night but a one off treat anyway.

We had a work night there on Tuesday 6th December. The food was SUBLIME. I'm a big fan of this type of food anyway but we had in our group some Lebanese "virgins" and everyone was utterly enthralled by the food. The venue and staff also delectable. The music was great, it started off as background music while we ate and as it got later the type of music and also the volume adjusted so that we started off in a wonderful restaurant and finished the evening in a stylish bar. I cannot recommend it enough to anyone and I will be going back very soon.
