Yvonne's Thai Cuisine at The Kings Arms
your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne
This is one of the many Thai 'restaurants' that serve food in a pub. This one is located at the rear of the King's Arms pub, in a large room with a nice atmosphere of an old pub. The place is always busy, and tend to get rather crowded, as the food is very good, and excellent value for money.

We were given a table at 6 and at 8 were told to eat quickly as the table was needed for other customers. We wanted to have another bottle of wine but the Thai food suppliers did not see this as constructive use of the tables in the conservatory. I am interested as in who "owns" the tables at the back. At 8.30 we gave up to the hassling and walked out. The quality of the food has gone downhill, I had a poor quality Penang curry which was salty as hell! The rice was old and prob microwaved. We will not return. Shame really, but I have to vote with my feet...
