Molo

My wife and I have eaten at molo on two occassions and both times have been very impressed with the service and especially with the food and service. The staff are always very helpful and nothing is too much trouble, The owner Gary is there to greet you when you arrive and is always checking to make sure that you are enjoying the meal and that every thing is o.k. we are booked to go again this coming saturday night the 19th july, but this time we are taking 8 friends to share what promises to be a great night, it is almost like being with family eating at molo's. Thanks Gary and all the fabulous staff for taking good care of us and treating us like one of the family,

To all at Molo Restaurant in Hampden Square London. Lydia and I would like to express our deepest thanks for an absolutely delightful afternoon at your restaurant. Having decorated the restaurant for the occasion of our son's Christening, on our arrival we were greeted with a wonderful reception. The ambiance and the entire atmosphere was extremely overwhelming.

The Quality of he food was exquisite, I've eaten in a number of restaurants in my time and the food here is of the highest quality which is rare to find in such suburban areas where normally you would expect to travel to the heart of London to get such results. The service was accurate, on time and without errors. The atmosphere is relaxing and you are regularly visited by the owner to ensure that all is well. This special bond that the owner Gary has with his customers creates that feeling of being totally unaware that you are in a restaurant and very relaxed and is very entertaining. As for the value for money - well you can't get better that this. Gary has done a great job in maintaining the quality, food and service one expects to find nowadays. I strongly suggest that for those who have never tried Molo's don't waste another day. Once again I thank you Gary for an great afternoon.

Molo is absolutely fantastic, i had my engagement party there on 1/6/08 and the staff and management couldnt do enough to help.

The food was superb and everyone had a great time.

I would definately recommend to anyone.

Being a Greek Cypriot I have been to a few Greek restaurants in North London, and I can honestly say, this place is number one!! The food is amazing and fresh, the atmosphere is brilliant and the service is great. You need to book in advance for weekends (Friday, Sat and Sun).

I read the many reviews and decided that I must try Molo, however I tried to book a table last Friday and was unable to get in, so I booked for the following week. I went with my wife and another couple, we had a variety of starters, for main course my friend had the T bone steak and his wife had Dover Sole, my wife had Sea Bass and I had the Red Snapper all of which was delicious and cooked to perfection. We all eat out on a regular basis and have frequented many well known restaurants, both locally and in central London and I have to say Molo is right at the top in terms of ambience, first class service, freshness and quality of food. The choice froms the specials is mouth watering and I certainly intend going back very soon. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food with a buzzing atmosphere where the staff are welcoming, efficient and friendly, Molo will not fail to impress you.

i read all the reviews and thought hat i must try this local greek restaurant. I enjoyed the meal but the location and ambience was not all that. I think some of the reviews are over the top. You can't compare it with the Ivy or Clariges as its now where near because its like comparing a Rolls Royce with a Mondeo. The sevice was good and so was the food and i will return but only for a quick bite.

Just had my wife's birthday party at Molo, and I have to say the food, service and atmosphere were excellent. I pre-ordered meze for every one, as there were 37 of us in all, and I thought that this would simplify things. The food was tasty and fresh. The waiters were attentive and friendly, without being overbearing, and the owner, Gary, ensured that we were kept satisfied. I would definitely recommend Molo.

This Greek Cypriot restaurant is a real gem to find north of the river. Buzzy modern atmosphere, fresh fresh FRESH fish from the daily blackboard, wonderful mezes, traditional sausages and meat dishes, Greek salad freshly made to order. We love to watch the action over the grill in the open kitchen at the back. We never have enough room for the complimentary rose scented icecream and filo sweets! There is a nice wide footpath to eat al fresco on hot summer nights. The current owner and staff treat you like one of the family every time.

Went for dinner on a recommendation from friends - it was excellent. Certainly the best fish I have had in North London. It was busy and very noisy but we were there at peak time on a Saturday night.. Definately as good as a local restaurant needs to be - highly recommended.

I rarely ever feel the need to leave a review for a restaurant, although in certain circumstances I feel its essential. We ate in Molo's on Saturday night, table for 8 without any hassle, the service is fantastic and so is the food.

The T-bone steak is without a doubt the best steak I have ever had, compared to all other over-priced restaurants in London, the food, service & atmosphere makes Molo's the overall winner. I have eaten in many superb restaurants in my time, however, this certainly comes in my top 5, amongst others such as the Wolsey, Langley & Claridges...

It's a great local Greek Cuisine - keep up the work guys, your Michelin star is just around the corner!
