We had a great evening at this resturant and found the atmosphere and hospitality great. Its a good location, tucked away in Kings Road and the food is good Italian cuisine. We found it a real find and will definately be back

I went to this restaurant with an Italian friend and her fiance. It was a disaster. My friends had booked in advance a particular table in person, but when we arrived exactly at the time we had booked we saw 4 other peolpe just sat there and the manager only said that it was not possible to move them. So we sat somewhere in the middle and hit by passing by customers and waiters all the times.
Then we were asked to try a sample wine that we did not want to order and eventually we were charged for it £15/glass. Food was very late, tasteless and not original at all. I ordered Lasagna and it was just one layer of pasta and some dry meat-balls!! The waiters were pestering us so many times that eventually we asked them to leave us alone. It was outrageously expensive too, in comparison to what they offered. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

The best thing about l'Osteria is food. It is hard to find real Italian in London but l'Osteria dell'Arancio does a good job at maintaining the "genuinity" of the italian food it serves. Service is "no frills" but attentive and the atmopshere friendly. If you are up for good couisine from "Le Marche", that's the right place. Excellent.

A good experience although am not overly excited about it. Location a little off-track, decoration "different" and thus pleasant. Wine list is average and food good, although not over the top. Consequently overpriced.

The fact that Osteria dell'Arancio's 'other' restaurant is in Italy speaks volumes. Every time I have been here the food has been so fresh and the menu seems to change depending on what is in season and plentiful. Also, the staff seem aware that they don't have the most perfect spot in the world so make the extra effort with service. This is the type of place where you can have a bowl of tasty pasta for lunch or a more adventurous foray into the delights of contemporary Italian cooking in the evening. Oh, and the wine list is a delight!

This restaurant might be a little bit difficult to spot due to its location (a bit far from any tube station) but is absolutely worth the trip.
Typical cuisine from Le Marche (central Italy) was executed with great talent. I went with a group of 8 italians working in the City, and all praised both the wonderful pasta dishes we had as a first course (especially the Duck ragu pasta), and the second course (the fish dishes were good, yet the Rabbit was the most appreciated dish of the evening).
The wine list was very decent, and I was pleased to find, in addition to the grand italian classics from the north, a good selection of white wines from Le Marche and other "rising" regions.
This is not a "cheap" restaurant, yet we ended up spending less 40£ per head (2 courses, 2 bottles of wine and coffees), which I thought was a very decent price for the quality we found, especially if compared to the other middle-upscale Italian restaurants I tried in London. This is probably the best I tried so far. Service was fine, Sommelier helpful, nice decor.
