I went thre times there. Great Italian atmosphere, kind of simple but good restaurant.
The problem is that the price (>20£ for the main course) doesn't fit this simplicity.
In a less trendy place, we could expect this quality to match a far more decent price.

I don't understand what's wrong with those people who wrote such a bad reviews on this restaurant! I was there last night with friends and girlfriend , I had a fantastic time, the wine was lovely, the food to me was the best example of Italian cuisine, from starters to dessert. I really, really loved it.

We were disappointed after a reading several positive reviews. The restaurant is expensive and dingy and the service was extremely poor. They had run out of fish and pasta so half the things on the menu could not be ordered. We were only told this about 20 minutes after ordering. The food which could be ordered was uninspired and not authentic italian style food . This establishment offered little value for money and it is not reccommended.

Decent (no more) and straightforward Italian food at Chelsea prices. May be worth a visit for lunch for the locals. Dinner prices are ridiculous.

this is one of my favourite places in London. There is a lot of Italy here, in the good and sometimes in the bad.
It's one of the few authenthic italian places in London, where the manager and the waiters are friendly and taking care of customers even if sometimes you need to wait a bit. Pasta is always great and I am sorry for who thinks that is uncooked, but this is how pasta should be cooked "al dente".
Wines are always vary and good even if a bit overpriced. Atmosphere great as well as the food. highly recommended for having an italian experience. do not expect perfect service and so on...but very warm atmosphere and friendliness.
I am astonished by some reviewI read below, as I have never experience such rudeness described at all , yet the opposite.

Loved the food - Had the squid on artichoke and it was pleasantly different, then had the seafood linguine which was probably one of the better seafood pastas i've had. The seafood was cooked to perfection - not overcooked at all which is hard to find.
Waiters were lovely and cared whether we liked our food or not. Even the foccacia bread was scrumptious. They also gave us more bread without us asking.

Not recommended at all. Our starters were cold - and we were seated inside..! Our mains were - without exageration - rancid! My lasagne meat and sauce was seriously bitter and the pasta almost uncooked - I had the feeling it was reheated from frozen to be honest as there were certain hotspots but the rest was as cold as the arctic. My partners chicken fared even less - he complained (he is a mild mannered Clark Kent) and was rudly told by the manager that if he had a 'problem' he could leave - this I might add was whilst the manager was pufffing a cigar in his face - after July 1............!
I am asthmatic and found it astonishing that I was seated by an open door and window where smokers were seated direclty outside - I asked the waiter for a table further inside to which I was told - it's booked - but until we left no one had sat there!
Our bill came to a smacking £120 - which included the evervescent still white wine!!!
Best of all was my visit to the toilet - someone had vomited over it all (class of food I guess) I told the waiter who told me to "Just stand and do what you do". I guess that says a lot about the place!
Not a place to really venture to - rude waiters, rude manager and an overall bad attitude. One more thing - someone from the flats across the road came over and started bereting the manager for the noise outside and almost got into a fist fight................!!

I went there last night as part of a group and was very disappointed, particularly with the service and the time it took for the food to arrive. We waited 45 mins for our starters to arrive and then a further 50 mins for the mains, one of which had to be sent back as the pasta was not cooked. The exasperation felt by the table was compounded by the fact that it took an inordinate amount of time to get drinks ordered and poured etc.
When the food did arrive it was generally good and the layout of the restaurant is very nice and the location excellent, however the service needs to improve vastly and the manager needs to be aware that when there are problems with the food there should be an apology or at the very least an explanation, neither of which was forthcoming.
In conclusion, this place is over priced for the overall quality.

I went there tonight with my wife and another couple. It was a dreadful experience. The waiter asked us to repeat the order three times: we should have understood what was going on. After a (modest) appetizer, we were completely forgotten. Despite repeated requests, we never received our entree. If you want a mix of arrogance and inefficiency, this is your place. But if you there, please do not say that you were not warned. I will never go there again.

Dicovered this jewel over summer. They have a wonderful outdoor eating space.. so rare in london! The food was easily comparable to Italy and different to anything else i have tried in london. It all comes from an italian region I had never heard of... The Marche thus its really one of a kind in London. The wine list was so exstensive we were almost lost but the sommelier was very helpful and got us the most perfect wine for our dishes. The service and decor was fun and friendly and my husband and i have now become regulars also as they are so child friendly! If you have not tried it youre missing out!!
