El Chicos Mexican Cantina & Cocktail Bar

My favourite destination in London so far, I have been here for over two years and visited El Chicos about ten times now. I haven't tried their whole menu but the Steak with mustard sauce is just divine! I could eat it for another two years! The staff (which does not change, I see the same faces every time I visit, which is unusual and very positive!) really cheerful, always helpful, happy and easy going. Love the place!

Bloody awesome. Sombreros, Cocktails, Big portion and great music. Next time i might not get tipsy and dance on the bar though..hmm!

Service was poor, inattentive and inexperienced. Despite being pretty empty we struggled to get the waiter's attention.

The inside of the restaurant is grubby, the lighting and stuff hanging from the ceiling and wall paintings detract from it to an extent, but the plastic tablecloths are sticky and worn through; it's a shame, the drinks and portion sizes are generous.

The food isn't elegant, it's big portions, big coloured cocktails and waiting staff in big hats. It's pretty good though!
