Caffe Moka

I absolutely adore this restaurant, it is relatively small so is not loud or noisy, the food is fresh and of excellent quality at affordable prices. The people who work in Cafe Moka are always polite and helpful, and I spend my entire luch hour relaxing in Balham's best local cafe. I would recommend it to anyone in need of a good break during a hectic work day and become a contented regualr customer like myself

I wish there would be more places like caffe` moka and less chains of expensive food and beverages without any quality..............in this country we seem to like paying money to big names just cause is trend.......... keep up the good work caffe moka cause we love u.............................

Perhaps we had set our expectations too high, but then having read the previous reviews that isnt surprising. Cafe Moka is fine, but that is all it is. There are lots of other similar places in the area (and many of them have much friendlier staff). It is more like a posh[ish] greasy spoon (nasty furniture!) than a cosy cafe - no harm in that, but useful to know before you go.

Fantastic cafe, which does excellent coffees, lattes etc and delicious food! The constantly changing specials menu is a real must at lunch-time, the portions are generous, the service is always impeccable and ultra friendly and best of all it's great value for money!

I visit Moka nearly every weekend and as you can guess i like it. Infact I love it. The fry up is super, the coffee and smoothies are great and the service is always quick, friendly and efficient. Its a great place to go on a hangover and I cant recommend it enough. I almost didn’t want to tell you all about it so you don’t all hog up the tables !!!!
