the food and atmosphere are adequate. Not quite sure where some of the reviewers have eaten or if they ever venture out of their restaurant 'safety zone' .

if you want to go local then there is only one chinese restaurant to go to - The Golden Palace in Harrow.

this is my fave chinese restaurant in London.

The service is always efficient, if not chatty.

The wine list is decent and the food exceptional - esp. for veggies.

Stand-out dishes are the lettuce wraps, crispy chilli fried asparagus (order as a starter) and salt and pepper fried broccoli for starters.

From mains the sea-spice aubergine and the kung-po vegetables are especially tasty.

This restaurant can be expensive, but the set menus are good deals

Even the take away is good

A great neighbourhood restaurant.

I use to visit this restaurant frequently and enjoyed the food & service alot. However on my last visit there I was so dissappointed with the service that i will never visit the restaurant again! Waited over 20mins to get a bottle of wine. Starters were pretty much flung on the table by the waitress without telling us what was veg/non-veg, when asked she was extremely rude.

complained to the manager at the end of the evening and he was least bothered and only compensated by removing the service charge from the bill! Not a pleasant evening and the waitress killed everyones jolly mood that evening! I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone!!

I have been eating at this restaurant on a fairly regular basis since it opened. Let me assure you that you WILL NOT find a better Chinese restaurant south of Watford. The food is perfect, the service is impeccable and the atmosphere extremely condusive. I would recommend this restaurant without any hesitate whatsoever.

Fantastic chinese place. Vegetarians also have a wide range of choice. The chefs will accomodate your needs should you want something off the menu, no matter how abstract. The food is top quality and the service is hands-on because of the relatively small size of the restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxing, thus ideal for a romantic meal or a family meal. I have been going to this restaurant at least once a week for years. There is a definite need to book your tables, especially on the weekends a day or two in advance. Bon appétit.
