I went to 805 with a few friends recently and I absolutely loved it! The food, the atmosphere, the staff - it was beyond everything I expected. We got there at a good time on a Friday night and it was very busy. Despite it being very busy we were seated quickly and our orders were taken even quicker. The food came in record timing and I must say! Yummmmmmmmm.

In my honest opinion I would recommend 805 to all people of all races, the Monika dish is exceptional and I, and my friends will definitely be going back.

I ordered jollof rice and ayamase take away @ 8pm on a friday night and was told they ran out of ayamase. I was told to wait a few more minutes, i believed they were preparing more ayamase. After about half an hour I was handed my food and I left. I got home to find that although I paid £11 for ayamase it was substituted for ordinary rice and stew. Hence I paid for £11 for rice and stew that tasted so bland. the Jollof rice was nothing to write home about either. I really don't understand the hype over 805.

This is not the place to go to if you want to enjoy a good restaurant service in a large group. I had pre booked the evening for my birthday and had to wait 40 minutes for another group to leave and for them to clear the tables. The management were horrifically professional; unapologetic for their inconvenience & not being proactive to resolve the matter. I experienced the owner of the restaurant having a hysterical moment and actually implying that we should be grateful for being in his restaurant. On a positive note, the food was mainly nice although some had finished eating when other’s food arrived!

good food, bit on the expensive side but worth the money, enjoyed the eba and efo and the monika. the waitress, called betty addressed us politely as madam and sirs which made us feel important and enjoy the experience, she was checking on us every now and then to make sure our experience was pleasurable which is customer service at it's best. i would recommend the place for fine dining

I have attended this resturant on many occassions and i must say I'm 100% pleased with the customer service and the interior design in the place. The food was incredibally tastey ...and well presented.I would recommened anyone to come here.

I have been to the 805 on several occasions and so far, it is the best Nigerian Restaurant that I have been to.

The food is very good, the service could be better. One of my friend had to wait 15 minutes before he got his food, whithout any apology from the waitress.

another thing is that they seem to be running out of palm wine whenever I go. I remember that I have asked a bottle, a lady told me that they did not have any, 30 minutes later a client on the table next to us got his bottle. I was very disappointed.

Yet, it is a place that I would recommand because, they prepare good food in a nice setting!!
