Last evening I celebrated my birthday at Viktor's.

As it was my first visit and the restaurant looked quite swanky, I decided to call beforehand to make sure there would be availability for the dinner deal. The person on the phone was very lovely and assured me they would take good care of us. As it was a tuesday the dining room was discretely quiet, but with us still 4-5 tables after 8pm, it was just right. Our host was lovely and attentive, no diva like you would expect in such a fine-looking establishment. After seeing the reasonably priced menu we decided to all have starters to share before doing mains. As starter, I would definitely recommend the scallop sushi. It is such a fresh and tender combination.

The soft-shell crab sushi was a mouthwatering sensation too! All very beautifully presented dishes and quite generous like the shrimp tempura. This is heavenly Japanese food for the critically spoilt foodie.

The choice, however could have been smaller. There were just too much options which in our case resulted in over-ordering.

I could come here every day, but honestly I would not have been able to consider doing this without the deal. My suggestion is Viktor and the 50% deal is too good to pass. Impress your girlfriend, boyfriend or meet up with friends for chats and some decent spoiling.

Absolutely fantastic! We tried to sample as many dishes as possible and were extremely impressed by each and every one of them. Delicious, fresh, and creative food served by excellent waiters in a really chilled and comfortable setting. We all agreed that it was one of our best meals and that we would most definitely be returning. The current 50% off deal makes the whole experience incredible value and is an offer not to be missed.

Sensational Sushi - premier league satandard.

Flawless Service - staff were only too willing to adise recommend.

Well-judged ambiance - restrained and cool decor.

Superb bar - Vbar is the ideal venue for some relaxed socialising.

The Viktor experience contiunally surpassed my expectations. In terms the quality of the food, it's at the top of the game and is a worthy alternative to Zuma/Nobo.

I have been going to Viktor since it first opened and would highly recommend it to both Japanese food experts and novices. Staff are extremely friendly and willing to explain the menu and recommend dishes based on your preferences. Prices are lower than comparable Zuma or Nobu, yet the food is just as nice, if not better!

Aftere the recent refurbishment, the decor looks seductive and would impress even the most spoiled visitors - pop down to the newly opened lounge bar downstairs (Vbar) for an unusual and mouthwatering selection of cocktails.

Must be one of my top favourities in London - highly recommended!

Zuma was fully booked and I really wanted Japanese so I wandered around the corner and stumbled across Viktor restaurant and Vbar. The food was comparable, if not better in some respects, to Zuma. Very attentive service and a fantastic bar downstairs. I'll be going back.

When to Viktor just after the redesign and it is absolutely beautiful. The new Vbar is fantastic. great food, cocktails and a very lovely waitress served us.
