Listen people. This restaurant does not even have the hall marks of a japanese restaurant . I decided to check the place out for my self and to my astonishment it matches the description of poor quality that the previous reviews have been saying.

-Food was very very bland in I would not even compare this to yo sushi to be honest .

- only one waiter on the floor. and food was served nearly cold and wagyu beef was of poor quality. the sushi is bog standard

- This is not the type of quality i would expect from the knightsbrdige restaurant . as a matter of fact I got the sense that this establishment is going bust it best move is to turn around or sell up. good luck with it.

After searching long and hard for a suitable restaurant for my friends and my own birthday celebration, that also had good reviews, i came across Viktor.

Upon arrival we were pleasantly taken to our seats and settled into the dark ambience of the room quite swiftly. We were already comfortable in our surroundings as well as our very polite waiter.

I must admit a little hard to order, as there were some wonderful choices, probably not so much choice for those who don't eat a lot of Japanese food.

We had edamame beans and miso soup for starters-great. We had the duck for main course-excellent. Finally the fruit desert with meringue-excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time, food and the atmosphere the restaurant provided.

Our bill was reasonable with our 50% discount, which came up to around £55-60.

We will definitely be going back!

I've been here already a couple of times and i think that the food is great and mostly it is such a good bargain with the 50% off! Service is minimal and atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. Will be coming back on a regular basis for sure!

had a cracking meal in here a couple of weeks ago. Food was beautiful, as were the cocktails. The only thing it lacked was a bit of atmosphere as we were the only diners but this was at lunchtime and the waiter (Austrian guy, really nice bloke) said it gets a lot busier at night.

I would highly recommend this place, even with no one else in the room we still had a great time. Will definately go back.

Went to Viktor's based on the strength of previous reviews but we were thoroughly disappointed. The downstairs bar is brilliant but unfortunately the restaurant fails to live up to it. On the night we went only one waiter was taking orders, the others seemed to just stand around. It took us several attempts to get served and even having complained the service was sub-standard. All would have been forgiven if the food was fantastic but it was at best bland. This is a fantastic location for drinks but if you want flavoursome, fresh sushi there are better places in London.

We have been to Viktor three times in the last couple of months and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The 50% offer was great value but we will return even without it.

The food is really good, the service quick and courteous and the ambience very pleasant. Good for a romantic evening out.

We tried edamame beans, spicy tuna rolls, the tempura assortment and a lamb dish (can't remember the name!). They were all really good.
