Absolut Ice Bar

We went to icebar last night at 11:45 after dinner elsewhere - despite the peculiar timing the atmosphere was good and drinks delicious (and strong) little disappointed that it resembled an industrial freezer, with some of the decoration lacking somewhat, plus the window directly onto the street detracted from the 'experience' and made me more cynical about the running. Otherwise though was a good time and the barstaff charming, particular one swedish guy who flirted with my group endlessly (we shall return!) Considering too that my entrance fee was paid for by someone else I feel that I would have given a lower mark if i'd paid £15 and then given one smallish drink, with everything else at £6 for refills.

My fiancee and i went for valantines not knowing what to expect after reading some the bad reveiws we had read here but im pleased to say these veiws were completly turned round we were greeted by extremly freindly and polite staff as soon as we walked though the door, the ice bar itself was fun and exciting not mention echanting and beautiful again freindly bar staff great drinks who looked as though they were enjoying their job this in turn gave an atmosthere of fun and excitment i can only compare to new years eve waiting for the bells of big ben to chime. then it was down to the resturant below zero what amazing contrast in design all warm and cosy the food was well thought out well present ed and flavors that realy inspired my palate, waitess's that had good wine knowledge and food knowledge then we were treated to great live singing followed by a fantastic belly dancer. all in all an amazing wonderful nite such an experiance and one i wont forget in a long time i will definatly be going back soon

Sorry to be a killjoy but this is an overpiced fancy dan theme bar, thats all. It's not enjoyable knowing your being ripped off. Buy a bottle of vodka and ask your local butcher if you can go and stand in his walk in freezer if it's the experience of drinking in sub zero temperatures that your after, your pocket will appreciate you! Interesting but not at these prices!

Absolutly Cool! This Bar is my Fav in London! Was wondering how the toilets would work if everything is made of ICE but you have to go..........
There is a buzz in the bar like everyone is trying this for the first time, very exciting and loved the shots!Good looking people from around Europe and wear lip gloss!

Very over-rated experience. The staff aren't particularly polite - I have had more gracious and helpful service. If you want to be herded from one queue to another, given a below average drink in distinctly uninspiring surroundings and pay £15 for the privilege then this is the place for you. Personally, I would rather stick to all the wonderful places London does have to offer!

This stands out as the most underwhelming and overpriced drinking venue I have experienced in London or anywhere else.
Booking several months in advance entitles you to queue (outside in the icy cold - perhaps it's part of the theme) for 10 minutes (the first of 3 queues) and eventually enter a square room with normal floor and ceiling, ice blocks built up inside the walls and a bar made of ice. From Norway. Oh. And then you get to queue again to get your free drink in novelty glass.
Normally I would be a sucked for this kind of thing, but the overwhelming cynicism of the enterprise, the rudeness of the staff and the less than overwhelming interior of the bar led to grave disappointment. Such a good idea. So badly executed. Such a shame. Stay away. Take your fifteen quid and have a nice cocktail up the road in the Sanderson.

Fantasic fun . Too cold for any longer than 45 minutes inside the bar. Almost lost my tongue when it stuck to the ice glass!!!

Visiting this new bar is right up there with the London sights. It's something you must do at least once. Think of the £12 entrance fee as admission. But at least you get one potent shot served to you in your personal glass made of ICE. Everything is made of ice and temps are cold so you can only stay for 45mins. The fun warm apparel add to make this a fun experience.
