Absolut Ice Bar

Arrived at the ice bar for our 5pm slot but had to wait over 10 mins to be "checked in". Got thrown on our rather cool thermal capes with attatched gloves and was impressed by how the bar is put together. They dont pack loads of people in at one time although seating is very limited. Couldve done with more than the 2 rude bar staff there knowing that theyre fully booked for every 40 min slot they have. They were miserable! Talk about a frosty reception. The glasses I found to be really hard to drink out of and after trying to buy another drink was told "you have exactly 2 mins to drink it". So of course we didnt get another. Altogether only there for barely half an hour.Think the look on the bar mans face wouldve only soured our drinks anyway.
Then had a drink in the restaurant bar before waiting and then being kicked out of there because of a private function, good thing we were literally about to leave. We were first table to be seated in the restaurant.Tables are rather close together so Im glad we were there when it was full. Service there was excellent, really helpful without being intrusive. Food was great but bordering on pretentious. Just over £100 for 2 people having 2 course meal and about 3 drinks. Both places over priced, I wouldnt go back to the restaurant again cos theres many places like it for the same price and the bar i probably would just for sheer novelty value with friends.

We went to ICE BAR and the esperience was nice and interesting, but after we set outside for dinner and we have been served after 1 oure and 45 minutes we placed the order, plus when they present the bill we have been overcharged...

Wow, we visited the ice bar during the day and it was so cool. We were lucky enough to get a flyer from a guy dressed as a yeti and got a special discount. A daytime trip is recommended!

Visited tthe bar on a first date last night and had a good time. Obviously it is just a novelty but its definatly a talking point!
Drinks were free for the first one on admission and the £6 each afetr which is pretty steep for what was just a shot. The service was slow as there was only one member of staff on and as mentioned in other ereviews only one bench to sit on......
Having said all this it was a great visit.....Its never going to be your local but for a one off night out its recomended!

This was a brilliant experience for the start if a night out if you want something a bit different. Kind of what I imagine it would be like being inside an Iglu - but with delicious cocktails being served at the same time! I was a bit concerned that my ice glass would melt before I got chance to drink my cocktail but luckily it went down pretty easily so I didn't need to worry! Would definitely recommend this to anyone as a treat on a night out.

Like one reviewer said the ice bar is a novelty and I couldn't agree more. Thought for 100 pounds for two people it was not worth it especially when they cram so many other people with you. There was no place to sit after the first entered people took the ice benches with the reindeer throws. And for anyone doing this hold on to your glass if not you are out of luck with getting a second drink. After we were abrumptly told so by the waitress we walked out after about 10 min and went to the Down Below restaurant which after a bit of a wait and slow service eventually warmed up and redeemed themselves with a tasty guinea fowl for me and a delicious monkfish for my traveling pardner which made the nite more bearable. Food check below is for the restuarant and the rest is for the ice bar itself.

It was an experience but I wouldn't go again.
Staff in the ice bar were rude, service was extremely slow (which is frustrating as you are in there for such a short period of time) and the normal drinks (beer / wine etc..) were over priced although the waitress were nice enough.

Everytime I have been to the Ice Bar and Restaurant it has been fantastic. Food is excellent and the atmosphere has been perfect for the setting I desired. Truly memorable place.... Its a must whether you are out with the girls or for a more intimate occasion.

Rather dissappointing. We could have been standing in a meat packing refrigeration storage unit. Charge was £15 for 45 minuites maximum stay. Personally thought 10 mins enough.A novelty.
