Went to the Ice Bar for a hen do and had no problems with the bar. It was a one off experience and it did get cold but that is what you would expect.
Really excited to go down to the restaurant afterwards. We were seated quite promptly although we were placed on two tables rather than one as there were 14 of us. Had our menus and made our selection from the set menu and waited. We had a tray of nibbles which didn't last long with 7 people sharing. Then had a wait for the starters which came pretty much altogether and that was lovely.
Half an hour later we received our main meal - well some of us did!! On our table two dishes arrived ten minutes after the other 5 and the on the other table one meal did not appear at all. When a waiter was asked where it was they said they would check. Nothing happened. Another waiter was asked and we were told we had asked the wrong waiter before!! Excuse me how are we the guest supposed to know there is a right and wrong waiter to ask. After an hour from the first person receiving their main, the last main was served with some fresh vegetables. We were then waiting another half hour for dessert which again did not seem to be in a rush to come out. We had had enough and walked out.
Food was fine although vegetable portions could have been more generous. Service was poor with no one checking that our meals were fine once served.
Will recommend the Ice bar for the experience but you can find better service for a meal at a Pizza Hut.

I really don't understand why the negative reviews out number the positive ones ten to one.
Four of us took advantage of the two for one offer and we ended up paying something like 12 pounds each for the premium time slot - all you can drink vodka in 40 minutes.
Wetherspoon's prices but QUICK service, sexy ambience, great talking points and jokes. CLEAN capes and gloves (why does everyone complain about soggy gloves and smelly capes?).
We took the 8pm session so maybe that is better but I really enjoyed it, time flew, we let the bar tenders decide on three drinks and we chose three. 6 double sized glasses (mixed in with juice of course) in 40 minutes and we were buzzing.
Great bar though am sure having paid only 2 quid per drink + the atmosphere really contributed to my experience as compared to other unhappy customer reviews...
