Manze's

Ok, so the opening times are odd and the staff are quite mad, but hey, they have the best, most traditionally English pies and mash that anyone could ask for. It's just off of Peckham Square, so it's not quite into the 'scary parts of South East', but close enough that you get incredibly cheap food and quite an entertaining little experience. I would recommend it if you have a fun attitude, and if you happen to be one of THOSE people who enjoy jellied eels... you definitely won't be disappointed...

Manze's pie and mash, is nearly as good as Cooke's Pie and Mash !!!
We always used to go to Cooke's pie and mash shop in the "Cut" near Waterloo, but sadly it closed down owner wasn't well, so to continue our tradition, I took my hubby and two young daughters to try Manze's in Tower Bridge Road and I have to say it was fantastic, I've always wanted to know how they make their lovely pies !!!! Yummy unfortunately, my girls who are not Londoners just don't see the attraction of this traditional meal over such lovely fair as McDonalds - The Kids of today, are mad.!!!
Well done and do keep going Manze's it would be sad to see all the pie and mash shop close.
