Nectar

I made a reservation for my recent birthday at Nectar Bar. It was my 30th so I wanted a pretty special night. I ordered food for up to forty people a week in advance, but on the evening when I enquired what time the food was coming, I was told the chef had gone home! The bar staff were slow and all my guests had to wait up to half an hour to get a drink.

I rang the bar after the night to see what happened with the food, no one seemed to know or care. They promised to ring me back, but never did. In the end what was supposed to be a special night turned into a pretty embarrassing night. I would avoid the Nectar Bar like the plague!!!

We had our staff party at Nectar last week and we all ate. We were offered a buffet option but we decided to just order straight from the menu. The menu is a rustic Italian one and the food is delicious. You can choose from pizzas, bruschette, calzones, salads and also platters to share. The food is amazingly good value for money and authentically Italian. 10/10
