Crussh (Farringdon)

Have to agree with the American ex-pat on the last review - Crussh definitely puts a healthy spin on ready-made lunches and it's great to find somewhere that whizzes up some fresh juices while you wait.

Try their Green Goddess juice - pear, kiwis, apples and even spinach - basically everything that's green and good for you (and you'd never guess there was spinach hiding in there!).

Healthpots are exactly the kind of healthy concoctions I mean to make myself for lunch - quinoa, barley, chickpeas, herbs, couscous, fresh veg, cashews. They do a great 'superfood' one that even Gillian McKeith would have trouble finding fault with...

If you hate making your own lunch to take to work then definitely search out your nearest Crussh - no Pret style sandwiches smothered in mayo and lots of genuinely healthy soups, smoothies and unusual salads and sandwiches instead. Great!

I work practically next door to the Farrindon Street branch and it's opening has been a godsend!

The cinnamon soya porridge with maple syrup and sliced banana is my regular breakfast, and good value at £1.75 for a medium cup, which keeps me full til lunch.

The made to order juices are great as are the soups - and several choices every day.

The one thing which disappointed me were the sandwiches. A veggie club was disappointing and over-priced.
