The Living Room (W1)

Do not eat at this place, rude staff, rubbish food and over priced and loud and to top that off you have to jusify why you dont want to pay the service charge. The reason we dont want to pay the service charge is because your service is dreadful. I have had better service in McDonalds and Burger King than I have in this place.

I told the waiter I wasnt going to pay the service charge and his reply was I need to get the Manager whilst muttering something under his breath, shaking his head as he walked away and then the Manager them comes to me and says my waiter tells me you dont want to pay the service charge to which I reply no because the service was dreadful and then I stood there and had a 10 min argument with a very rude Manager. It took me saying if you dont take my money I will leave without paying.

RUDE MANAGER, RUDE WAITERS AND VERY AVERAGE FOOD,

This really isn't my type of venue but a friend chose it for a birthday dinner as the menu was varied and would suit all tastes. I was pleasantly surprised by the food which was actually rather tasty. The service was lovely and the bill was reasonable. The only (major) drawback was that it was really, really noisy. We were a group of 5 and literally had to shout at each other all night. There was a live singer in the bar and despite the fact that she was really good, we all breathed a sigh of relief when the music stopped and we were able to shout a little less loudly.

Very much a party atmosphere here so would recommend for a lively night out.

An awful experience from start to end.

Rude staff. Long delay in ordering. Wrong drinks- which took two attempts to change.

Food was cold, microwaved and oliy, just yuk!

Wouldn't recommend at all

To their credit they did take the meals off the final bill but not before trying to insist that we were the only ones with a problem i.e. We were being picky! Horrid.

So far it must be one of my favorite Modern European restaurant in London. Been there almost 5 times, enjoyed everytime almost. Will go there again for some cocktails. It is on the Heddon street, no need to say.
