decided to try out a local pub near to where i work and what a find i made lovely traditional wood panelled interior and very well kept a mixed bag of customers comprising of locals and people from nearby canary wharf. The Resolute serves lovely home cooked food in large portions at a good price a fair range of draught & bottled beers along with excellent cask ales and an apparently new real ale served cold from Adnams called Spindrift which i was told is only served in 40 pubs in the whole country. I dont know why because its a great beer, i have been back regularly since my first visit and have never been let down by either the food or the drink.

popped into the resolute on busy friday afternoon the special was icelandic cod with chips and mushy peas. All i can say is enormous and deliciuos and a steal at £6.50 a very cosy and friendly pub which is well worth a visit, i'll certainly be going back
