One of the best meals, if not the best, that I have been lucky to eat (and have eaten very well).

The ingredients are brought together so you really get a sense of their vitality - of being nourished on every level.

Quiet grace of the staff and simple, quiet space mean you can really focus on the eating.

My friend had eaten there before, but must have forgotten how generous the portions are. Maybe six hungry people could have tucked it away, and I was enjoying the leftovers for days :)

Phenomenally good value too - I was convinced they had undercharged us when the bill arrived.

Thank you :)

I have been to many middle eastern restaurants in london, and when i visited sarchnar restaurant with my family it was by far the best. The food is a mix of middle eastern and modern food. The atmosphere is relaxing and it is very good value for money and the service is the best. If I go out and eat I would definitely go to Sarchnar. Also i would recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

this resturant is well established offering unique blend of mesopotamia, kurdish and iraqi/middle eastern food. the best value is quozi, and weekend delicates for not the faint hearted is pacha it the typical whole head of lamb with sauce and soaked bread.

but if u are group of 4-8 people and want to try something out of the world ask for masgouf but this need to be pre-ordered 48 hours ahead make sure u mention masgouf to in the book and the no of people, it works out about 40 for the big fish.

of course for 8 people they should be there for the taste.

soup and dessert and tea is complimentary with yr meal.

best value in london
