my fiance is middle eastern and took me here for a taste of iraqi/kurdish food and the only word to describe the food is fantastic. Its not in the most beautiful part of town and the tables and chairs need a bit of a retouch but once through the door there is a really homely atmosphere and the waiting staff are very friendly. A lot of the menu needs explaining for a beginner in middle eastern food but once it arrives no more talking necessary just eat! Plus it is such good value for money that ten pounds buys you 2 starters and a main course and their absolutely fabulous home made bread ensures you leave with a very satisfied stomach. A must try.

Great food, great home made bread. Surprising place, very tasty food. The lamb with eggplants sauce is fantastic.

This restaurant is amazing. Start with an order of hummus and choose either the lamb kebab or the tender lamb on lovely rice. Finish with a small pot of mint tea. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is prompt and friendly and the owner is usually on hand to greet guests. The price is right too!

We love this restaurant. We found it by accident when trying to go the place accross the street, which was closed. The food is wonderful (especially the lamb with rice!) and the service is friendly.
