Came here on saturday - place looked good so went in - had to wait a bit but it was all worth it - food was top class and then the bill came - i expected it to be about £50 but was only £20 - amazing - definitely going there again.

The arrival at the restaurant put a constant smile on my face; the diners were predominantly if not all Asians! Despite the wait and chaos the food was outstanding. The Tandoori Mixed Grill was A1, as was the Chicken Jalfrezi. Even the staples of rice and nans were cooked to perfection. Oh please can we have a Karahi Express in W1; TW4 is a long long trek unless one's going to Heathrow.

Best All round Restaurant In and around Heathrow by miles.

The staff are so freindly and helpful.

Can be very very very busy on the weekends as I have found on many occasions.

But would recommend this restaurant all day long.

I tried the branch on Uxbridge Road Hayes last week and it is equally as good and is a little less busier. The Amritsari Machi in hayes is great!

The main thing with these restaurants is the customer service and the starters are the best...

My family and freinds love this place.. See you theeir next week!

I am new to the area and did not know where to go out and eat. I picked Karahi Express to try, as all of the previous reviews seemed great. It pleases me to say that I had a tasty filling meal served by incredibly friendly staff. The restaurant rapidly filled up with families enjoying themselves creating a lively, buzzing atmosphere. I would definitely come here again to try some of the other exciting looking dishes the chefs were serving up but next time prepared with a bottle of wine.

My friends and I have been going to similar places in Southall, but since this one opened, it is the only one we visit now. The food is excellent, the staff couldn't be more friendly and as a bonus the car parking is right next to the joint. For genuine North Indian food at a very reasoable price, it can't be beaten in this area.

I am from India and I normally avoid Indian restaurants in Britain as I find the food is not the same as back home. Karahi Express on the other hand changed my opinion altogether. I went there with some work colleagues after work. It’s very much like a ‘diner’ back in India. Those who have had the experience of eating in a ‘dhaba’ (a roadside diner) would agree as the food is fantastic. Best of all you get your own booze and drink it in their premises.

As you enter you can see the chefs at work alongside a glass screen. On the table you can see big bowls of ingredients. Your appetite would have had a jump start already with the aroma as you enter the premise.

I strongly recommend the Kebab platter that arrive sizzling on a tray (grilled and spiced lamb chops, chiken tikka, seekh kebabs, chiken wings, drumsticks) on a bed of grilled onions. I can assure you, you will be scraping the last bits of onions from the tray after you have finished. But the best of all has to be the Sheekh Kebab. I have never had a sheekh kebab like this ever here. In fact very few places in India too make them as nice as this. They are tender and almost melt into you mouth. If you are there, make sure you order the Sheekh kebabs. They alone are the reason you should visit the place.

The curries turned out to be excellent and very much what you’d get back in India. The Quail Masala is out of this world. If you do not like gamey flavours in your curry, the masala/gravy alone is worth all of it.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

The vegetarian dishes are not as nice as the meat and poultry wares but they are definitely better than most restaurants too. Definitely go for the Daal Fry.

Dinner for 7 cost us £15 each but then mind you we ordered an aweful lot of items. Had to take a doggy bag as couldn’t let such good food be wasted.

Expect to wait in queue after 8pm as the place get very very busy.

We liked this restaurant.

The kitchen is in the front behind a glass screen, and the cooks ladle spices into flaming pans and deep fry papodums and feed naans into the tandoor which adds a lot of excitement.

The food is standard Indian restaurant but well cooked and not expensive. Portions are large.

You can bring your own wine and beer which adds to the economy of the meal.

However, the best thing is the seriously friendly staff. We booked a table for a big family reunion last year, and it all went so well we are going back again this year.
