The restaurant look like beautifull and romantic, the light come in swety above the room making an harmony see of the interior. Food is served with dedication and flavor, where is excellent main course of pork and lamb. well recomended.

It's ok. Rather cold and quiet, with lots of single tables of bored-looking businessmen.

Very good Bellinis.

"amuse bouche" of "goat's cheese" in a heinz babyfood jar (with sticky glue from the label still stuck on).

Excellent starters of foie gras (could be bigger portion) and mussel soup (perfectly done mussels).

Excellent main courses of pork shoulder and lamb.

The food is overpriced but becomes acceptable with the 50% off.

Service is efficient but lacks the touch of class.

I went with a colleague and some clients for a business lunch earlier this week. The restaurant at the back was not as impressive as the rather nice open and light area at the front but it was suitably smart. We sat in one of the booths and had a very good lunch. The prices were remarkably good, I thought.

The food was bordering on becoming too fussy but it was well received despite the modest sized portions. The service was very good and attentive.

There are not that many other business type places of this calabre in the area. Some people may therefore end up there by default. I think it is worth travelling to, although there are better restaurants further west.

I've eaten at Addendum several times over the past year for business lunches with clients. The standard of both the food and service has never fallen below excellent. From pigs cheeks to the excellent venison the dishes are full of flavour fantastically well presented. Puddings are especially good with some very rich and some very light. Waiting staff really know how to look after their diners without being intrusive. The only small gripes would be with water. Each time I have been to the restaurant our water glasses have been re-filled every time even a tiny sip has been taken resulting in glass that actually gets increasingly full the more you drink from it! Especially pleasant is the fantastic sommelier who recommended a perfect South African white on my last visit.

I've only been to the restaurant at lunchtime so I can't comment on it's suitability for a romantic evening dinner date. However, as a venue for a semi-formal business lunch it's hard to beat. Cost wise, a three course meal for two with a £30 bottle of wine comes in at around £150 including service.

Highly recommended.

Addendum has got so many things right it's a puzzle to understand why so many City restaurants fail to deliver to this standard.

Firstly the space itself is subdued and quiet and makes you feel as though you are in a contemporary gentlemans club. the service is first class and attentive without being intrusive.

The important stuff is the food and wine, nice tight wine list with some expert assistance from the resident sommeliers. The food on the other hand is a different story all together. Reading the menu it all looks simple but Tom Ilic manages to pull of some pretty amazing magic tricks with simple ingredients.

It is only a short time before this place picks up it's first star and becomes a city instituition, get in there befoe the rush....

This was a most interesting experience.

From the 1st minute of entering this place i found it spot on.

Service was very very quick while at the same time leaving you still feeling relaxed.

Food was Grade A and to be quite honest whatever you choose to order here you cant go wrong.

Great Frois Gras, superb pork main course.

Not massively expensive either - Its a matter of time before this place is seeing "Stars".

Had dinner few days ago with my partner, at Addendum restaurant and had one of the best meal ever, my partner had the tomato terrine to start and i had the mackerel which were excellent, and rest of the evening was superb, my partner is wheat free and the maitre d' was very helpful to recommend the appropriated dishes. Will be back soon with my business partners.

Absolutely superb - went on a client lunch today (3rd March) and the Red Mullet starter and Turbot main were fantastic - really good cooking. My colleague and client also enjoyed their Pork as well. Certainly the best place in the City - excellent service and competitive prices to boot. I would happily return, both with clients and friends.
