3 Oceans Restaurant

I went there Friday night 13/10/2012, they have now leased part of the restaurant to a pizza place, and the '3 oceans' part is the smaller area. There was a board outside for 50% off, wow I thought, but the warning should have been that both 3 oceans and the pizza restaurant was empty on a friday night at 9pm. I ordered a mixed grill and lamb masala, the mixed grill lamb was boiled with sauce brushed on, very chewy meat. the lamb masala had 5 small pieces of meat and full of cream, not masala as it used to be. avoid this places, it's gone downhill and should be ashamed of the food it serves. we asked the waiter what happened, he knew exactly our issues and didnt care.

We booked this restaurant for my wives 40th birthday on the 24th of September 2011. The party was a great success. They did their very best to accomodate all our demands. Which was not an easy feat. The food was very good. The disco lights and the dance floor after the meal was beautiful. They have two flat screen T.V's which they advised us to create a picture DVD to be playing during the party.

At the end of the party the praise for the venue and the service they provided was fantastic.

I wont stop my frequent vist to this restaurant. 3-Oceans has really mantain its standard of food along with its authentic taste. I have seen several restaurants in the neighbourhood closing down. This is the only one standing on its feet since my first visit in 2005. I have lost my job yet i visit them as they have several outstanding offers. Service wise, cant complain nor can i expect more as they give much more than they charge. Cant understand same people visiting again and again inspite of bitter experience

This is an update from my previous review in Dec '08. The restaurant has really gone downhill. The food is good, but the shuffling of furniture has not helped. It now feels like eating in a canteen, and service is not what you expect, as the staff have obviously had no experience of restaurant waiting at all! Our service could only be described as interesting as it tooke over 10 minutes to get a drink, and the starter came after the main course had been served! Altogether a great disappointment!

The waiters are oceans apart, terrible service and attiude, we went for the buffet and wouldn't let us pack up the left overs and said they would just dump it.

Food is good and value for money shame about the service and the decor..

The food was okay - not brilliant.

The portions were quite small! The milkshake was only 3/4 glass full where 1/4 part was just froth - £3.50 not worth paying!! The waiters had no smile at all. when we left the waiters did not say bye!! I would not like to be served with a miserable face!! The nans were small and a bit burnt!!
