Villa Romana

I’ve eaten at Villa Romana many times and all the times the food has been absolutely delicious. The service has been very pleasant and all portions are worth your money.

We ate here on Saturday 5/04/08. Chicken livers and fish soup for starters - absolutely delicious. The only thing that spoilt it for me was that I ordered wrongly by having the risotto afterwards - too much. Next time (and there will be a next time) I'll either just go straight for main or have a light salad first.

I really like this place.. been there twice now and both time food was very nice; good portions and very inexpensive. I recommend their saltimbocca. It is unfortunate that it is a bit out of the way otherwise I'm sure it would get a lot more custom.

I've had a meal at Villa Romana twice, and both times the food has been great, service friendly and efficient, but for some reason both times the place has been virtually empty. Maybe the out-of-the-way location is a bit difficult, because the restaurant itself is fantastic and very good value for money.

We had dinner there on Friday 24th March and it was wonderful. Ambience was great, service excellent and the food tasty. Huge portions for the price. Would definitely return there.
