Went to ITSUKA for Sat late lunch, after parking we we were pretty excited about trying another Sushi place and passed a signboard on teh pavement pointing us to Itsuka and also a list of special offers.

IT WAS CLOSED ON A SATURDAY.

In my experiene this restaurant was perfect. I had a special friend staying - a real lover of Japanese food - and we fancied something to eat following an early-evening drink.

Itsuka was just right. It may be quiet, but this gave the opportunity to relax and talk in peace, and the service was impeccible - we were met with only smiles.

We went for sashimi and sake and were not disappointed, especially not by the price.

This restaurant may not be the busiest or most lively one in Islington but it is certainly one of the most welcoming and I wish them well.

I went to this bar restaurant with my freinds last week. The decoration and those japanese waitress which gives a good atmosphere in japanese style. I have tried the japanese beer that is great and i have also ordered a couple of side dishes which is not bad. I would like to introduce this bar restaurant to anyone who love japanese style

I went to the restaurant with my boyfriend last Saturday for dinner.

We were particularly impressed by the warm welcome of the waiters.

We had a Tempura set meal with miso soup and a Terriyaki chicken meal and they both tasted really nice!!!

As it was cosy to sit on their sofa chaira, we decided to share a Japanese cheesecake with read bean sauce dessert. I have never had that dessert in UK before, it definitely was special!

The price(including drinks) was resonable, about 15-20 pounds for each of us.

If you would like to have a quiet dinner or try something new, i definitely think you should visit ISUKA.

Islington does need a good sushi place, but unfortunately this is no it! We went for a bite afterwork, only to find we were the only people in a place that lacked any kind of atmosphere, the food was over priced and I will be sticking to my usual sushi haunt in the west end!

This restaurant is really bad.

My 1st impression was that it felt grubby and it was empty but it was Sunday night, the seating and decor were terrible, stained upholstered chairs.

It lacked atmosphere the music was really loud and awful.

The worst part was the food I ordered salmon sashimi and it was off. The smell stuck with me for days after! Decided it was too dodgy to eat so paid for drinks then left, I won’t recommend it.
