I am wirting to you to express my sicnere gratitude to one of your employees at the Restaurant. Her name is JAYANTI SINGH. She was a very customer oriented waitress, big smile, warm welcome, taking care of all details, building rapport with the guests and provide excellent service to make sure customer is satisifed. I stayed with family from July 14 till 17th (room 435) and we all had the pleasure to be served by her.

I do recommend motivating her and to personally tell her of our opinion and feed back.

She can be one of the reasons for me to get back to this hotel in the future.

thank you and keep it up

I visited this restuarant on Saturday lunchtime.

I hadnt pre booked a table, as i was intending to eat elsewhere, but due to tube issues, getting around london was problematic.

We were seated without fuss or issue as there was plenty of space to chose from.

We were offered drinks, and we requested 5 minuts to examine the very limited lunch time menu. However, the waitress didnt return for closer to 40 minutes.

When the started finally arrived, i found it to be cooked to death (baked breaded mushroom with spinach), and very bland indeed.

The main course was even worse. French steak, with garlic butter and fries.

The steak was very gristly, the fries were cooked to much, that you couldnt actually get them on a fork, as they were rock hard! and the garlic butter was cold!

For a bill of £70 for two people incuding drinks, i was less than impressed.

My advice, stay clear of this place, and hunt out somewhere with more quality for you money.

Myself and my partner had booked the pre-theatre dinner at Chez Gerard and on entering the restaurant thought we were in for a culinary treat. We were however deeply disappointed as to what followed...

We both ordered the french onion soup to start and it was like eating a very poorly constructed gravy, heavily laiden with onions and inedible floating croutons. For our main we opted for the fish cakes with 'pommes frites' (soggy chips to you and me) and the taste was what my partner described as 'frightening'.

We left the restaurant underwhelmed to say the least.

Very disappointing.
