I am afraid I am not very good at writing long restaurant reviews but I really liked this place. The food was fantastic, the music and atmosphere too. It's 10-10-10-10 from me.

This restaurant is truly lovely, everything from the food to the service, to the atmosphere is just wonderful, and the lamb is simply to die for. We came across this restaurant after reading reviews for a good restaurant in our area; we were certainly not disappointed and have since been back twice!

Andy and Andie made us welcome the moment we stepped into their restaurant, and are wonderful hosts! All the food is cooked fresh and the smells filling up the restaurant are divine!! We can’t wait to go back soon! Please this restaurant is amazing do not miss out, book a table; it is very small and gets full very quickly, Keep up the good work, we will see you again soon.

A lovely restaurant, slightly hidden off Ealing's Haven Green.

The food is simple, and delicious. And, the owners, Andy and Andy, are friendly and welcoming.

This is by far and away my favourite restaurant in Ealing, and makes my top five in West/Central London. My favourites: Popeseye, w14 - Steak; Da Mario, wc2h - Italian; La Trompette, w4 - French; Wine and Mousaka, w5 - Greek; Karma, w14 - Indian

This is my favourite restaurant in Ealing! Andy and Andy the owners are wonderful and truly make us feel like treasured guests each and every time we go. If you can't decide what to order, the Mezze is brilliant - its a super yummy selection of dishes that just keep coming. Having said that, if you have to limit yourself to one dish - Imy favourite is the pork souvla with greek salad - delicious. Its really special to go somewhere that they take the time to remember your name and you're not just another faceless customer. Every time I eat at Wine & Moussaka, I leave happy.

Have returned after a year's absence. It wasn't that we did not like the change, it was more that the restaurant was morphing into more of a generic European one and we could get that locally (we live 5 miles away).

The new people have been there 6 months now and although it reflects the old Wine and Mousaka, it has moved on in small ways.

The charcoal grill is back so that means souvla is back on the menu. Rather than a hunk of meat, the souvla is now various pieces but has the same taste and melt in the mouth consistency. You can also taste the wine in pork sausages in wine. The kalamari is deep fried but not fatty.

You can't go wrong with a bottle of Othello either.

£109 for 3 starters, 3 mains, 2 bottles of red, 3 coffees and 3 sambuccas.

Worth the trek on the 427

I recently returned for a meal here after spending many celebrations at the Wine and Mousaka in my childrenhood. This time I had my fiancee, a cypriot, with me and I was quite nervous as to whether the place would be the same - they did not let me down at all.

The welcome is superb, with Andy treating everyone as though they are long lost friends, the atmosphere is cosy and warm. You can watch your food being prepared in the open plan kitchen, and all the dishes are traditional Cypriot, so lots of meat and crisp fresh salads.

I highly recommend the Meze, particularly for those who are not familiar with Greek Cypriot food, the red Othello is also a great wine to have with this. There isn't a dish on the menu that you can't trust - It really is a great place to celebrate time with a friend or friends.

Have to disagree with "david's" review. Having been to the Wine and Mousaka on many occasions since the mid 70's, its now as good as it has ever been. Its hard to receive cold food when the kitchen is actually in the restaurant. And the greek salad is the only one i have had outside of greece or cyprus which contains among other things fresh vine tomatoes rocket and coriander, as far as the tables being closes together the restaurant is very small, that is very blatant even from the outside. I feel i have to defend this restaurant because me and my friends have had some fantastic meals there, long may the new owners continue.
