Completely agree with the user below who recommends Retsina and Mousaka (just down the uxbridge road at Culmington parade) way, WAY above this restaurant. We ate at Wine and Mousaka to try it out but it is comparatively unimaginative, run-of-the mill greek food like you'd buy in the meze section of a supermarket. Nothing particularly awful but nothing special either. And very cramped.

Nice cosy greek restaurant which offers good food at good prices. The service is nice and friendly and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed.

The only problem that I've encountered is that it can get a bit noisy if the restuarant is full but other then that it's well worth a visit.

Great restaurant. Does not look the part from outside but once you’re in you will be looked after by your Borat style host.

I’ve been here perhaps 20 times and appreciate some of the other comments on the site could be true however I only ever order the souvla. Ring ahead and secure one as they don’t always have them on the night and you won’t be disappointed.

Served with some fried potatoes and a lovely bowl of Greek salad this place is awesome. I typically start with the Greek wine sausages or humus both of which are great.

Don’t stray from the narrow path and you will be rewarded.

I pass this restaurant everyday on my way to the tube station and wasnt quite sure what to make of it. Anyhow my boyfriend and i went after the christmas period, so it was empty no other couples in the restaurant. The decor is a bit rustic and there are clearly too many tables in there for such a small place, however the manager is brilliant. Amazing customer service which i find is rare these days. Lovely food and good value for money too, great little place dont dismiss it.

I notice below that this is considered to be the only Greek Restaurant in Ealing! Wrong! I've eaten here before and the food is dull, tasteless and reheated. The atmosphere in the restaurant itself is awful. However, just a short stroll away in West Ealing is Retsina & Mousaka, which is a fabulous little restaurant. Ok, the decor is a little kitsch and the staff are slightly overwelming, but the food is great, the lamb roasts on giant skewers which are visable to all. Excellent, authentic Greek food, huge portions, very fresh and excellent value for money. My only one critisism is the wine (think vinegary salad dressing), i'd stick with Keo (local Cypriot beer) which is far more palatable. I did hear a rumour that both restaurants were run by the same people, if that's the case, they've really gone off the boil with Wine & Mousaka! Best avoided at all costs, go to Restina instead..

Having lived in Ealing for some time now I have always wondered what lies inside this inquisitive little restaurant so often overlooked. The sad reality is that I should have kept on wondering. The food was burnt, frozen, overpriced and reconstituted. The front of house was obnoxious and false. Not to be repeated or recommended.

I live in the area and this restaurant would be seen as one of the quaint Ealing locals. Food is above average - ambience is cosy. Meze is the best value although still on the pricey side. I found the restaurant owner's overtly friendly and attentive manner slightly forced, which was offputting. Service was also very slow. Being the only greek restaurant in the area it does not have competition and therefore prices reflect that.

Wine and Mousaka has been a feature of Ealing Broadway for as long as I can remember. I always thought it looked slightly dodgy - a bit 70's sububan nightmare with frilly curtains etc. Anyway, my boyfriend and I went through a bit of a Greek phase recently and decided to put appearances aside and check it out - and the food was amazing! We decided to pick 6 or 7 starters and share everything, and I think we made the right decision. The dips were lovely and highly authentic, as were the calamari, haloumi and grilled sausage. You can judge a good Greek on these things alone, and Wine and Mousaka is more than up to the job. We've been back since and it was just as good, if not better. The manager is great and obviously cares about his customers. I advise you to put the dodgy decor aside and check this place out.
