Maroush III

My girlfriend and I went here for a meal towards the end of October. The place was nice looking and it smelt lovely as we entered.

The food was absolutely great and portion sizes were generous. They did mess up our order for main course but were apologetic and offered to sort the mistake promptly.

We overall were happy with our meal and will more than likely visit again.

I would like to share my terrible experience with everyone about MAROUSH III. We booked this restaurant for a nice family dinner and I had heard the food was nice. I little bit more expensive that the others in the area but we were willing to pay the extra but I was soon to find out the horrible truth. I have never been to a restaurant with such bad service!!! It took over 30min to get a starter and 1 hour later we had still not been served our main course. We asked waiters several time for our meal and eventually got so fed up than after 1h and 30mins of being in the restaurant decided that we were not prepared to wait any longer and requested the bill minus the main courses. The staffs were rude and demanded we pay for all the meal and on top of that a charge of £2 per head just for sitting in the restaurant!!! Had I had my full meal in a reasonable time I wouldn’t have been that fussed but under the circumstances I was not prepared to pay this. All in all I would not recommend MAROUSH III. This restaurant is over rated and not worth it.

I have been to almost all the Maroush restaurants in London - the food is always fantastic and this restaurant is no exception. I was brought up on this cuisine - my fiance (who had not really eaten this type of food before he met me) is a massive fan too, thanks to Maroush. The meat is so incredibly tender; the mezze is extremely tasty and varied. Everything is freshly prepared and well presented. I would strongly recommend a visit to this restaurant - you won't be disappointed!
