At last a peace of little France.Very friendly easy going service.Food are good value for money and no nonsens decoration on the plate.At a average cost of £7.00 for 2 courses,it is a steel.

Simple style French Restaurant - and all the better for it. A gem of a find

Food was ggod and very reasonable. Staff veyr frienldy and helpful.

All who wre there seemed to be enjoying it and had probably been before.

The ambience and style of la vie en rose is fantastically French but anyone who has ever dined in France will realise that the food is simply not up to the mark. The slow service was redeemed slightly by the charming staff and the food looked good but lacked taste and was overcooked.

We ate here on the Friday after Christmas.

The food and service was lovely and very reasonable.

Just one small point, it would be nice if you were offered a drink whilst looking at the menu. Looking around at other diners it seemed to be the same, you had to ask for a drink, but on the whole that is just one tiny little blip.
