We thought that the food was good but could not believe how rude and arrogant the owner was, especially to his staff. A real bully. Makes for a bad atmosphere and we won't be going back in a hurry. Very expensive too.

I went there recently on a weekend lunchtime and the place was more than half empty. It was a hot day so I assume that people were out enjoying the weather. The staff were courteous and the food arrived fast and was completely and utterly gorgeous. I imagine it would be different in the evenings when its busier, but on the basis of the experience I had I would recommend it.

I ate here along with four girlfriends last Friday evening. We ordered several platters between us which was just as well because eating anything but finger food at these little low tables whilst sat on an armchair style chair would be near on impossible. Food was good, arrived quickly and well presented . Staff however were overattentive, rushing over and clearing away drinks glasses before we had barely put them down.

Bar area was very noisy which meant it was only possible to chat to person sitting next to you.

On the whole we had a good evening and would return again.

Went here soon after it opened. Took my mum and were reluctantly seated at a very poor table in a draught and asked if our partners were coming! Food poor and atittude worse. When I complained (politely) about the food (mine was fine but my mother's was both cold and burned), the manager told us to leave his restaurant and told me I was banned! I have never been banned from a restaurant before! Very humiliating. A foul man, an awful experience. Do NOT go if you are women alone - and personally, despite some positive reviews, I would NEVER recommend this over-priced restaurant, with poor food, worse service and hideous rude arrogant manager. Do NOT go here if you want to enjoy a relaxed evening. Avoid.

The food was overcooked and the owner is too arrogant, they wouldnt change my overcooked food and it was also overpriced, i wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone

What a place! After waiting four weeks for a table on a Saturday night, I was expecting something spectacular. And I was not disapointed. The service was fantastic, as was the food. Haven had a great atmosphere with people all around us clearly enjoying the experience just as much. Value for money? I would have paid twice the price for the quality we recieved. As you would in the West End!

I went here with my husband and 2 friends, we had a lovely night, right from the cocktails to start with in the bar (we were told there was no rush to sit at our table)to the dessert at the end. The menu was varied and interesting and the food was lovely, you couldn't fault anything. The service was friendly, atmosphere great and the resturant busy. I would recomend this resturant/ bar to anyone wanting a special night out. We plan to go back a try their very reasonanly priced Sunday roast sometime as well.

I went to this place when it first opened and was very impressed, but have been there recently and unfortunately they started believing their press and have become far too complacent. I found it overpriced, the food bland and the staff (especially the owner) very arrogant. Someone should tell them, "hello...you're in Whetstone mate, not Belgravia".

I booked a table for 11 and we were offered a table for a maximum of 10, it took some explaining to get a small vacant table added on. If you like your meat with gravy on top of your vegetables, regardless of agreeing to have them cooked natural with nothing added it might be OK. Greasy meal and the worst restaurant I can remember eating in. The restaurant showed no desire to please and they didn't. I'm so dissapointed. Cafe Rouge could teach them a thing or two. The desserts were good.

No smoking is excellant. The bill was accurate but much more than I expected with a 12.5% discretionary service charged added.
