Kanchans Rasoi

The food here is amazing. Your standard fare (the nans, dahl, veggie currys) are all done very well but the best thing is the inventive dishes that go beyond your standard curry house fare. The best example is the baby aubergines in tamarind gravy which I can't recommend highly enough. The service is good, decor is fine but it's the food that makes it stand out.

Excellent is all I have to say about this restaurant. I eat Indian food quite a lot but this is by far the best one I have ever had. All ingredients seem fresh and the taste is delicious. Highly recommended!

I eat out alot with all a very busy lifestyle plus all the meetings there nothing more important to me then good quailty food and service. Well The Kanchan Rasoi have got everything down to a T. The food is fanatastic, plus everything else. Now if you want a good night then i would recommend this to anyone... espcially as i feel that the search for ultimate restaurant has ended. Well done to the owner and staff.. in fact i think i will fo there tonight!!

the place has been around for ages and is just one of those places that serves fantastic food and good value too.i've been going here about once a month for about two years and the food is always spot on.as its part of a group of restaurants the menu is very high class and the crowd is very much a mix of asians and non asians which is always a good sign.more often than not one of the partners of the group who own the restaurant,peter baxi,is usually on hand and just looking at him you can tell he is so enthusiastic about food.i recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a high quality, fresh curry at a good price point.
