A fabulous meal - glad we didn't get seduced ny the flashier place next door. We were going to a concert and the meal came promptly and was totally delicious.

We thought that the food was excellent at Blossom. The only draw back is that they bring everything out as it is ready. The waiter explained this to us and we were fine with it, but I feel that this is letting the place down and leading people to feel unhappy about the service. Even if you order a starter dish, that doesn't mean it will come before your main. I know that this method is best for having all the food hot and at it's best, but surely they could plan the timings better. There was just two of us so we didn't mind but I'd nearly finished my meal by the time my boyfriend's main course arrived.

Was really disappointed with tis place - we went on a Friday night, it was dead, no atmosphere. Poor service.

The seafood rice dish only had a few flakes of salmon and that was it. We complained, with the waiter telling us that it wasn't actually meant to be a specifically seafood dish - despite being labelled as such. Teriaki box okay, but all in all, a massive let down.

Ate lunch here the other day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The maki rolls were very good as was the shrimp tempura. Much better value than the Nobu style restaurants. The ambience is also good with a subtle setting and discreet look.

While it is true there are several Asian restaurants in the Shoreditch Area, Blossom is the first proper Japanese place offering high quality sushi and it doesn't disappoint.

Sure, it may not the cheapest place around, but the few times I have been there the bill has never been more than £25 per person, and I think it is worth it.

The only downside, in my opinion, is that the menu is fairly short and never seems to change- oh, and the music, which tends to be a bit too loud.

Went to Blossom when it first opened. The sushi rolls were really good, the gyozu average. Service was pretty bad but I put that down to teething problems - too many staff staring into space and failing to notice customers. For the prices they're asking it's not worth it, especially as there are so many good value Asian restaurants in this part of town. Nice for change if you can afford it. Get a window seat too.

Blossom is a great restaurant, the quality of the sushi is excellent and whilst it's not the cheapest sushi bar i've been to it certainly isn't overly-pricely. both the upstairs and the downstairs seating have a good atmosphere (and you can smoke downstairs).
