There was a sign outside that said "new management", and that may explain the difference in service level we experienced compared to what others wrote before me. The service was slow, friendly, but definitely too slow. We waited 15 minutes to get a menu (and had to ask for it); we waited 15 minutes to have our drinks served (1 of 3 orders were wrong); then we waited 1 hour before our starters (cold yogurt dishes) were served -- and again, we had to ask. 2 separate tables left during that time basically saying they couldn't or wouldn't wait anymore. As far as we could see, whilst there were 2 waitresses, 1 seemed so new that she needed directions from the other waitress, leaving only 1 waitress running around doing everything, serving 40+ people in the restaurant. There was a man who appeared to be the manager but he didn't lift a finger and stayed behind the bar the whole time -- which makes you wonder since there are only 6 drink choices on the menu. Oh, perhaps his job was to mess up entering the amount in the cash point machine because rather than charge me the correct amount of £30, he charged me £300. It was most likely a mistake but I'm just saying since he didn't do anything for the 2 hours we were there, it's hard to know what distracted him so.
Having made all these complaints, the food was pretty good. The flat bread was excellent, though the cold yoghurt-based dip starters were very heavy. My companions thought their grilled meats were very tasty. I had a stewed lamb, which came with few lamb and lots of oil, but it was flavourful.
I think we need to expect more from London service industry, especially if they levy a service charge.

My dad is Iranian so we were looking for a nice iranian restaurant. When we entered, you could just smell the lovely food. The kebab was just as nice as it is in Iran. it was lovely and the service was very good aswell. My dad had a nice time talking in iranian to one of the waiters and overall, it was one of the best iranian dishes i've ever had!

I went to this restaurant with my Japanese friend and as I missed Iranian food, I really enjoyed it and my friend too.
In Iran, this restaurant is very famous and luxurious, but here it's so smaller but the service is more friendly.
The kebab was not as delicious as in Iran, but you can try it if you miss it.
