Had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant recently and was most impressed. It is'nt your normal curry house, the quality of the food is extremely good (and generous portions!).

My brother lives just around the corner from this restaurant and mentioned it to me. We went there two weeks ago and I am going back tonight. In a word.the food is the best indian food I have ever eaten....and being in the Hospitality industry, I have been to the best and most expensive in London and delhi...........I would put the dishes that I ate up against any other restaurant.........in a word fabulous. My brother is thrilled that I like it, he worries that enough people go there and it might go out of business.

The service is unobtrusive, polite and sincere. The decor is simple "clean and tidy".

Go, I think you will be pleasantly surprised...............new and interesting dishes...........not your same old same old.

Found out about this restaurant throught this site. Went the first time in January '06 and rather enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The vindaloo was good and I like the service and somewhat cool but pleasant feel of the place. Since then have been back a couple of time, and have each time been dissappointed. The food seems lacklustre and dull- I've lost my enthousiasm for the place. Hope they manage to get their act together.

Really surprised at the quality of the cooking at this discreet and relaxed Indian. Far more sophisticated than your average curry house, the regional dishes are spot on and the subtlety in flavours would be expected only at far more expensive and pretentious venues. Eat here and get Painted Heron/Vama quality for a fraction of the price. Room a bit drab though, and air conditioning system can be very noisy.

We found this lovely little restaurant while my daughters were visiting Olympia. Excellent food, good service, would definitly recommend, its a shame that we live 60 miles away otherwise we would be regulars.

This small, contemporary styled restaurant is simple in it's design but tastefully welcoming (although the blank walls could do with a few traditional artworks to break them up). The menu has all the classics along with plenty of mouth watering dishes we hadn't come across before. If I could have sampled them all I would have! Both my partner and I agreed it was some of the tastiest food we've had (and she visits India regularly). We would highly reccommend it and as it is off the beaten track would urge locals to frequent it.

I stumbled accross this restaurant on the first day of new management. I heartily recommend it to all.

Excellent food, good service. Certainly great value.

Beware of the coffee.
