We definitely over ordered and had wine and it still only came to £20 per head. Great value, great atmosphere and fantastic food. No complaints at all. I would highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back soon. As good as some of the big names in London who charge twice as much. Not a surprise the restarurant is always packed.

I visited this restaurant with about 10 friends for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and we had a fantastic meal.

The staff were attentive and patient and the food was some of the best Thai I've tasted in London.

I really couldn't fault this place. It's excellent value, has tasty food and a great ambiance.

I'll definitely be coming back.

What a lovely little place.

even thought we turned up with 8 of us and no booking the staff made no fuss and calmly re arranged the tables for us, were attentive and polite whilst staying unobtrusive.

I have no idea whether the food is authentic but it is good, served quickly and somehow they even mangaed to get all 8 of us served at pretty much the same time.

In all, nice food reasonably priced and nice staff.

Muang Thai is an excellent restaurant. It's very cosy, the food is brilliant and the staff accomodating. I went there with about twenty of my friends to celebrate my birthday and there were no complaints. I'll definitely be going back.

Our evening started with a couple walking in and being immediately shown to the table we had booked and were waiting to be cleaned. We then waited almost an hour after ordering for our food, which was not as tasty or authentic as some reviews here have suggested. The green curry - what should be a simple staple - was so sweet it was unpleasant. Having been drawn by the descriptions of the wine list by previous reviewers, we were disappointed to find about a half dozen each of reds and whites. Although the staff were polite, they seemed almost embarrassed by their inattentiveness. However, they were very keen for us to finish and twice tried to take our plates before we had finished eating. There are three or four better Thai restaurants within 15 minutes of this one.

Muang Thai is a SUPERB restaurant, with food very superior to most Thai restaurants. It has charming, authentic Thai decor and the staff are helpful and courteous. I have brought many guests here over the years and they have all been very impressed by the atmosphere and quality of food. Don't miss this little gem opposite the Roundhouse at Chalk Farm.

this is an excellent thai restaurant serving great value nosh. the curries are delicious although sometimes verge on the sweet side: highly recommend the massaman curry. thai beef salad is as described- rare and aromatic, the prawn crackers a cut above the average polystyrene chips, and a great wine list. definitely not to be missed!

I agree with the reviews below, and think that this is the best Thai place in London. Am especially fond of the Chicken & Cashew Nuts although try and vary my choice on occasion! Service excellent, food amazing! Hope that now the Roundhouse has opened opposite I'll still be able to get a seat.
