I used to go to Souk Bazaar regularly but hadn't been for a year or so until last Friday. The atmosphere and decor was still the same which is nice but was shocked to see the increase in menu prices. All mains had gone up by £2-3 and Moroccan wine jumped up by around £5.
The food was nothing special this time around, the mains hot and cold in places, not to mention one wrong order. The staff offered us free tea, coffee and baklava which helped the situation, but I shan't be going back...

i went to Souk Bazaar off Charing cross road last night for my friends birthday. i have never experienced worse customer service in all my life. the waitress is probably the rudest lady in the world. the food was over priced and poor quality. my friend had vegetarian cous cous- turned out to be cous cous and spinach. vegetarian yes, but for a main meal? no.if this was the last place on earth i wouldn't go there again. actually thats a lie, im thinking of taking my mates back there for drinks to show them the worst waitress in england. ive had better service in a kebab shop.which in hindsight i think we shouldve gone to.DO NOT GO HERE, unless of course you crave confrontation. i wish this was a wind up, but sadly it is true.avoid at all costs

I'm from Manchester & on my trip to London I had vowed to go to a Moroccan restaurant.
I hadn't planned on visiting this place but I stumbled across it on my final day & decided to give it a bash.
Wheb I went in I thought it was cute, cosy & authentic. I was sat near some oither siners who seemed to be enjoying the food.
At first I ordered the a lamb tagime but then after realising that the set menu worked out better value I asked the waitress if it was too late to change my order & she was very kind.
I was hugely confused by the menu & didn't realise everything was included mezze style but when I asked her to explain she was very helpful & didn't make me feel stupid haha
The food came & was delicious.. Lots of it. I asked one of the waiters if that was the starter. & he asked me if I wanted the main so I said yes
Everything was packed with flavour, delicious & morish. The mint tea for dessert with baklava was to die for. I will go again simply for the mint tea.
As someone who usually watches what I eat I was surprised that I had eaten way too much but it was delicious what can I say.
Excellent service, great food & atnosphere
Ps. I got the impression that it is quite a bohemian approach to waiting.. They seem to want to give you time to relax & enjoy the flavours & experience so I suggest letting them know when you are ready for the next course

I had an lovely evening in this restaurant. I went there last friday with friends, we had a la carte and the food was nice and it came quick and steamy. We had shisha and cocktails on the terrace at the end.
The service was friendly, they care about us until the end.
This is the restaurant which I will recommand!
