TJs is an excellent place for a fried breakfast - huge portions and great value for money.

Not a place for health freaks...just stop eating when you feel the shooting pains up your arms.

I love this place. Difficult to faut really...I wanted to take my gilfriend on Valentines day to share a 'big breakfast' but unfortunatly she had other ideas. Non the less if you need to recover from a heavy night out or seek refuge from a overtly healthy partner dont think twice. TJs is great. Skip the diet and give up on your new years resolutions; eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, and black pudding twice please!!!!

TJ's, despite no external signage to indicate the name of this restaraunt it is the only place to go in South-West London for your Breakfast, the portions are massive, the choice extensive and the value great! TJ's standard breakfast, any 5 items plus toast plus tea only £4.25!!! The service is better than most 'exclusive' restaraunts i have been to and the staff are genuinely happy to help and are always chatty.

If you are a large group or on your own they will always fit you in somewhere. I have seen groups of 20 seated together with the dragging of tables and assistance of staff who really don't mind, a great experience!

I must wholly agree with GE about Sheen's best 'Greasy Spoon'. You are always made to feel welcome and every Saturday and Sunday morning you're bound to see some rowers from the local club (PTRC) regaining their strength on a very large but cheap brekkie.

For a hearty English meal with genuine un-pretentious staff look no further.

"TJ's for breakfast on a Saturday" I can't really imagine my life without this once in a week trip to the best Greasy Spoon 2003 Award winning 'restaurant'. One of the waitresses wears a Burberry cap for chav effect and another has every bloke who goes in there thinking he's pulled, I myself particularly like the pink jean and slightly potted midrif look she had last week. Anyways the food...the food...sublime I go for a TJs big breakfast at £5.50 which comprises of pom de terre et cabbage, oeuf, saucisson (2), tomate, pudding noir etc. delish...There are infinite combinations of english breakfasts but they also do dinners so you could actually spend your whole day in there as some people do. Lasagne and chips for £4.50 ! Basically don't bother going anywhere else ever again if you live anywhere near Mortlake - I LOVE IT AND SO WILL YOU.

Don’t be put off by the mis-matching cutlery, plates, cups and pretty much everything else. TJ’s Café in East Sheen is a real winner; it would be difficult to find a better ‘greasy spoon’ this side of London. For the bargin price of 4.25 you can tuck in to TJ’s classic 5-item breakfast (served all day), just remember that scrambled eggs is 2. All the old favourites are on offer and the black pudding is particularly good, The tea is weak and milky as it should be in a place like this, and if you like a bit of toast with your butter this is the place for you. The atmosphere is great, and the service can only be described as relaxed. TJ’s comes highly recommended and complete with a clientele that wouldn’t look out of place as extras in East Enders. Fantastic.
