The food is really good quality, fresh, not too salty or greasy like some other chinese restaurants. Its great value for money and has a very welcoming authentic atmosphere. The buffet is spectacular as well, great change from Sunday roast!

Over the last 20+ years that I have been visiting La Orient, David Yeung the proprietor has done a great job in improving all aspects of the restaurant. He has two excellent Asian chefs and a willing, friendly and efficient group of waitresses. This is a really 'buzzy' and busy restaurant so book to avoid disappointment especially on Friday and Saturday nights. The food is of a consistently high standard and in my opinion is better value than it's more distinguished neighbour across the road - The Good Earth.
