Great food at great prices, just a pity they don't answer their phone when you want a take-away.

At last there is an authentic chinese restaraunt in the Battersea area.

My wife and I don't have to troop any more into Chinatown.

The food was exquisite ! You could tell they use only the best and freshest ingreidients

It turned out to be fantastic value for money which was a pleasant surprise at the end of the meal.

My wife who is chinese origin and very fussy about her chinese food gave it the thumbs up!

Quality Chinese food in an unpretentious atmosphere. Phung hits the spot with quality ingredients, nicely put together, in a friendly simple setting. The spicy king prawns are superb, and the won ton soup is proper won ton soup. (Not the usual chinese restaurant fare of won tons floating in chicken stock).

After reading the previous reviews we decided to try Phungs Oriental on Saturday 4th Feb. The interior of the restaurant is very nice and much attention is paid to detail. There was 4 of us and so we ordered a set menu for 2 and supplemented this with a selection of other dishes from the menu. The food was very good with one exception, we were a little dissapointed with the crispy duck. This was very dry and in small flakey pieces that were not very 'meaty'. The service was very good and very friendly. Given we were dining on a Saturday evening, we thought it prudent to book in advance but found that apart from one table of 4 guests we were the only other diners - this was at 9.30 though. Based on our experience I can only imagine it is a matter of time before this place is discovered by the masses and it will be difficult to get a table - so get in quick while you can!.

Coming from Hong Kong, rightly regarding as the centre for Chinese Food excellence, I am often disappointed with the quality of the most so-call Chinese restaurant in this country.

At last I have found a restaurant that is damn close to the quality that I am used to back home. The restaurant was simple and elegant, the warm and friendly hospitality was second to none and the value was amazing especially if you opt for their set menus.

I will be back again no doubt and if you haven't been then I recommend that you do, you will not be disppointed I promise.

One of the best meal we have ever had. The attention to details was amazing with the various carrot carving displays that came with the various courses really adds to the experience.

Other so call Chinese restaurants take note, this is how it sholud be done.

Everything was so well priced that we can easily afford to come here at least once or twice every week. Watch out for the current special offer they are running as well for unbelivable value.

We highly recommend anyone looking for a great Chinese meal to try this place, you will not be disappointed.

At last we have a decent Chinese in the area, about time too.

Great food, great service and well priced.

I don't need to venture out to China Town anymore.

We stumbled upon this littel gem purely by chance the other day on our way to Battersea Park. The bright letter box red exterior certainly caught our eyes.

The interior was simple yet elegant and the service was as second to non especially as the propriety was at hand to guide us through the extensive menu.

The food was excellent although the main course arrived slightly slower than we expected but it was well worth the wait.

The final pleasent surprised was the bill which was much smaller than we expected given that it was one of the best meal we had ever had.

Highly recommended and we will certainly be back again very soon.
