Al Forno

I'm a member of Pizza Express and I love Strada too so getting me away from there is hard when it comes to pizza.Didn't know this place existed had it not been for a friend's birthday celebration. A table for 14 was booked. Great atmosphere and ambiance but sadly the service let us down. Food would have been great had it been served hot. Not enough waitressing staff in our opinion and sadly the tip which was added was not deserved!. Will go again only to for me to be proved wrong. .

Fantastic local restaurant with a great range of food for both children and adults. Kids get dough to play with, which is then baked, and can watch pizzas being made and then baked in the wood oven. The owner is a true gentleman - friendly, approachable and very welcoming and this extends to his staff. The food is suberb and authentic and prices are very reasonable.

A superb Italian - great food, great staff, great atmosphere. Very good value and a superb evening's entertainment for a large group or simply a quiet meal for two. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Love this place, its just a stone-throw away from where we live, so we visit this restaurant a lot. Food is always high standard. Love the pizza with seafood, if you like weird looking pieces of sea-creatures!

One tip: if you really want to eat here, booking will be recommendable.

We've just moved from Putney and miss Al Forno already. The food is simple but always fresh and tasty and pretty reasonably priced - but the staff add that special something .. Dancing and singing invariably breaks out at least once a night - and complimentary limencellos are normally thrown in.. A great little local place.
