Santini's (Kenley)

We tried this restaurant for the first time this past weekend and have found a new favourite! The prices are more than reasonable, even more so when the quality of the food is brought into account. Renzo takes an especial pride in ensuring that each of his customers enjoys their meal right from the first bite to the last sip of wine. The overall service is efficient, friendly and helpful without being obtrusive in any way. Everything about this restaurant says "come back again" and that is definitely something we will be doing, this time bringing along a group of our friends.

We had been meaning to visit Santini's since we moved into the area and now wish we had tried it earlier! Did not book but were accomodated graciously, food was absolutely excellent, real proper cooking with genuine Italian flair and, after asking what we liked, the recommended wine was perfectly to our taste! The chef came out to check we had everything we needed, were enjoying our food and to have a chat! Overall, three courses for two people with aperitifs, a good bottle of wine and coffee came to £65 so extremely good value too.

Fabulous food and wine with a personal touch at a very reasonable price. Could not believe we could get a table on a Friday night, the word obviously has not got around about this gem of a place!
