We have been going here for several years now and the quality of the food and the service is never disappointing. Chef makes you feel like a family member who has come for a meal at his home, he will always try to accomodate you if he has the ingredients, and never compensates if he does not.

Every now and again he holds "Gourmet Nights" where he cooks his favourite food and everyone gets to sample and enjoy.

He is also a sommelier so can recommend a good wine to go with your meal, and will not make you choose the most expensive on the list!

Not the cheapest place, but hey, sometimes it is worth paying a little extra.

Since I added this restaurant, I should write its first review! We went the day before New Year's Eve and found the place to ourselves, understandably. It's small & cosy, with beautiful decor and the service was second-to-none, although I suspect it would have been just as good had it been busy. The catfish (substituted for Calamari) were *perfect* and it just got better from there, with pasta and fish done for us that weren't even on the menu. Chef came and chatted to us too and was nothing but pleasant. For a romantic evening, or a small group of friends, this is the perfect place and is worth the trip. Book quickly though, because they get busy quickly!
